Welcome to Season 2 of the BBB podcast! This week's episode is a 10 minute Vipassana meditation. Vipassana means to "see truly", so in this episode we'll practice observing our thoughts, sensations & emotions as a means to gain new perspectives & understand that we are far more than our thoughts - we are in fact the one that watches them. If you know anyone who may benefit from these practices, please do share them; that's how podcasts grow! You can find out more about me on my website or my Instagram - here you'll find blog posts along with my teaching schedule and a bit about what I do. If you like you can even sign up to my monthly newsletter. I always love hearing your thoughts, so do reach out by either of the above means. Stay well, Big love.
Welcome to Season 2 of the BBB podcast! This week's episode is perfect for when you're time-poor and need a little injection of mindfulness and keep you grounded. Together we'll explore the exhale as a mechanism to slow down and come to a more balanced state where we feel grounded. As always, if you're interested you can find out more about what I do as a Yoga Teacher over on my website or my Instagram. If you feel so inclined, I always love hearing your thoughts, so do reach out by either of the above means. Stay well, Big love.
Welcome  to Season 2 of the BBB podcast!  This week's episode is in honour of Mental Health Awareness Week 2022. This week's meditation is themed for moments of lonliness or times when we feel disconnected from our people. This would also work well for other moments in time - so don't feel you need to be lonely to join me. I'll begin with a chat about loneliness and at minute 4:30 the meditation will begin, so feel free to skip to that if you'd prefer. As always, if you're interested you can find out more about what I do as a Yoga Teacher over on my website or my Instagram. If you feel so inclined, I always love hearing your thoughts, so do reach out by either of the above means. Stay well, Big love If you're struggling pleae seak help.
Welcome  to Season 2 of the BBB podcast!  In Episode 2 I'll lead you through a subtly focused body scan to help you 'See Feelingly' into the whole of your physical & energetic body - essentially a practive you focus your mind of feeling your body whilst still. The meditation will end with Affirmation (Mantra) which will invite you to let go of the need to control everything, by simply surrendering to the natural flow nature.  So find somewhere comfy and quiet and let's get begin! As always, if you're interested you can find out more about what I do as a Yoga Teacher over on my website or my Instagram. If you feel so inclined, I always love hearing your thoughts, so do reach out by either of the above means. Stay well, Big love <3
Hi guys,  Jas again! This week I'm speaking to you about Perfectionism. Sharing a little of my journey with the Perfectionist Gremlin that sometimes, lives in my mind and just generally rambling (unedited) about why I think rebelling against our perfectionist tendancies and accepting the messy in life and process can be a beautiful and productive thing.  If you're into shirking off perfectionism within creativity, I highly reccomend you read 'Big Magic' by Elizabeth Gilbert. It's a game changer. More from me here:  https://www.instagram.com/jas.newsome.yoga/ and here: https://www.jasminenewsomeyoga.com/
Hey guys,  Here is episode 4 of BBB. This time around we will be practising Nadi Shodhana Pranayam (alternate nostril breathing.) If this is brand new for you, please take it easy - make sure you're in a safe space and not driving etc. If you like this episode or what I'm doing here, please let me know via a 5 star review :) You can find me on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/jas.newsome.yoga/ or www.jasminenewsomeyoga.com Happy breathing!
Hey Guys,  Today I'll be leading you through a short-ish movement sequence, focusing on the spine as our centre.  All you need is yourself, some space on the floor, perhaps a cushion or block to sit on and a little trust. There is no doing it wrong, anywhere that feels good, is the righ place to be. So please encourage any whispers in the mind of 'Is this right?' to gently hush. If you enjoy this episode please get in touch, follow, like and share. It really means a great deal :) Love as always Jas x
Today we'll be exploring a breathwork practice for calm, increased focus and settling of the mind. I'll be giving this a little intro before we begin, if you don't have time to listen to that today, you can skip straight to around the 4.45 minute mark and we'll get into it. This is a perfect one for before bed, first thing in the morning or even as part of your Yoga practice, if you are someone who practices Yoga :) Please make sure you do this practice in safe space, so not whilst you are driving or in water etc. If you'd like more from me, you can find me over on the 'gram @jas.newsome.yoga. If you're into this and would like to learn some more about breathing, take a look at this TedTalk with the incredibly calming Max Strom, which I site during the episode. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Lb5L-VEm34&t=549s Much love and Gratitude x

Catch me on @jas.newsome.yoga
Welcome to Season 2 of the BBB podcast! This season we're jumping right in with a 10-minute meditation led by subtle breathwork. So find somewhere comfy and quiet and let's get started! As always, if you're interested you can find out more about what I do as a Yoga Teacher over on my website or my Instagram. Stay well <3
