When I learned that disappointment wasn't permanent and didn't have to define me, I shed the shame and learned how to allow it in my life. Once you allow something, you are no longer held back by the fear of it … you no longer spend your time avoiding it.  Discouragement is similar. It doesn't have to suck you in and keep you stuck. I am a big feeler, and when I used to get discouraged, it was hard core and really deep. Thank you Trish for such a wonderful podcast! This past year has been one of the hardest for me mentally and I struggled with anxiety, depression, and no self-confidence. I was desperate for a podcast or anything to help me get out of my own head and stumbled upon yours. It has changed my life.
