Want to stay relevant in 2021 with design sprints? I go over my five top tips for how to position yourself in the market for what’s to come, and give you a heavy dose of reality with the coming blend of innovative processes with Design Sprints that will change the overall landscape for the discipline. Enjoy!
In these car recording episodes I’m doing (that I’m now calling B-Sides), I do a runthrough of how I’m going to explain the global virtual design sprint in tomorrow’s webinar. I keep it to 10 minutes, but I need the practice. I tend to ramble sometimes. :-)
Wishing you and yours a very nice holiday and New Year. And while you’re at it, come by tomorrow (Monday, December 28 at 10:00 am CT) to learn more about GVDS6 in April 2021!
Are we asking too much of people in online workshops to always have their cameras on? Can we really pay attention to numerous digital exercises in a row without feeling mentally fatigued?
In this episode, explore the notion of cognitive cost and its impact on participants of online workshops. I also offer up an alternative solution that combines asynchronous work with a three step, one hour process for maintaining momentum while keeping everyone’s attention at an optimal level.
Hope you enjoy the show!
I thought it might be fun to record an episode in my Tesla while I was running some errands. I don’t know if the audio quality is going to be enough, but hopefully it’s entertaining.
Anyway, in this episode I talk about two new services I’m going to be prototyping in the weeks to come. Mural Masters and Miro Masters. The idea is to do at least 10 experiments for each one to see if either of them have traction in the market.
If you have any comments, opinions, or questions about what I talk about in this episode, please reach out to me on LinkedIn. Just do a search for Robert Skrobe and you’ll find me. :-) Thanks for listening!
Up next on the Dallas Design Sprints podcast, we’re featuring Elisa Guardabasso. She’s an innovation coach, design thinking facilitator, organizational designer and psychologist from Trento, Italy.
Listen to this episode on iTunes: https://apple.co/2C4yBHC
Elisa and I talk about open innovation challenges and the spectrum of how they’re produced and planned. We also cover the top 3 organizations that are actively doing open innovation challenges in Europe.
Hope you enjoy the show!
