OOOOH! A juicy topic this week. Also an extremely vulnerable conversation; BUT I feel it's so important to share the details on how to help understand them and overcome them! I've struggled with depression for 7+ years but hadn't had an anxiety attack until I was 19! When adulthood finally hit me - literally right in the face. Anxiety is common.. and scary. But you're not alone and there are so many ways to overcome these moments! I promise! Your anxiety does not define you! Sending all of my love and well wishes. With love, Jordan
Do you get reaaaaally nervous before meeting a client? Kind of like date nervous? Or like you're meeting someone's parents for the first time and want to make the best first impression?! I am right there with ya. I used to get sick to my stomach prior to work because I would be so overwhelmed with every little "what if" but the matter of the fact is that your client is asking for YOU! They already think you're great and you've already gotten their attention. Show up and own it girlfriend!
I'm sharing my personal 3 things that I feel have gotten me as far as I am and how you can use these in your day to day life as well to ease stress and anxiety. Do you show up to work confident or do you show up full of self doubt? Are you actually taking care of your mind and body? Do you love what you're even doing? These tactics make me feel put together, calmer and better prepared to take on my work; maybe you can implement them into your routine!
