Dr. Constance Foreman is a primary care physician.  She talks practicing medicine, the path to medical school and she gives us some tips to a healthy life style.   She also reveals her superpower. 

Kenny House is a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist and Certified Clinical Supervisor with over 30 years of experience in the substance abuse and mental health field. He has been involved in program development that has covered a wide range of services : from prevention to outpatient treatment for both adult and adolescent populations. Mr. House is the Vice-President of Clinical Services for Coastal Horizons Center- a local private, non-profit agency serving residents of New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick counties – and the Eastern Region of NC via Prevention and HIV/Early Intervention services.  

In the second in the series on race I talk to Mike Dickey who is the Pastor of City Life Church.  Mike has a unique and interestng perspective sandwiched between his upbringing and his current reality.

This is the first in a series of discussions on race that I had during the summer with members of the faith community.  With the current social climate in our country and that fact that we live in the ciity that is the home of the only successful  coup d'etat on American soil (Wilmington Masscre of 1898) it's important to begin having the hard conversations.  If we don't have the hard conversations they will always be hard.
