This is the first in a series of discussions on race that I had during the summer with members of the faith community.  With the current social climate in our country and that fact that we live in the ciity that is the home of the only successful  coup d'etat on American soil (Wilmington Masscre of 1898) it's important to begin having the hard conversations.  If we don't have the hard conversations they will always be hard.
