Tessa Tallakson is currently a student, artist and aspiring entrepreneur. When she's not revising for history exams she's putting in the work to share her beautiful artwork with the world. Tessa has some real talent and has continued to pursue her dream of being an artist despite not going to the art school she got accepted into. Tessa shares her story about how dyslexia has affected her. Tessa was home schooled and her mum was realised that she learnt differently. Tessa's mum has done a great job as Tessa has got an incredible work ethic and put in the work and is doing extremely well in school. Samuel Fragoza is a self employed, Singer, Actor, Author and many other things. Samuel and connected over social media and after speaking with him over email I had to get him on the podcast to share his amazing story. Samuel was like Troy Bolton (high school musical) at school and was one of them popular kids. He was the best wrestler at school but wasn't so good with wrestling his books and getting the best grades. Samuel struggled to read and write but came up with some creative ways to get passed his struggles which he shares in this episode. Matthieu Laing born and raised in France moved to Scotland to study and better himself. Matt wasn’t happy with getting average grades and wanted more out of education. His dad taught him English at home and his English became better than his French. He’s been attending boarding school in Scotland to get the support he needs to make sure he aces his exams. Annette Dolan shares her amazing story about what is it was like growing up in school with Dyslexia. She was forced to leave school at the age of 15 without any qualifications. She worked Annette had always had a talent for art, and after saving and scrimping she got the money together for a stained glass course. She became skilled enough at this to start getting paying commissions. Annette grew more confident and then took a big gamble - she moved to the West of England (where her family had moved to London from as a small child) and set up a studio in Bath. She had hardly any money, but she stuck with it. Her business grew, and grew, and now she is one of the most successful businesswomen in this part of Britain. Besides her original studio, Bath Aqua Glass (www.bathaquaglass.com) she has a glass blowing studio, and two other retail shops in central Bath and over 20 employees.
Sam is a Graphic Designer at MAKE Architects who graduated with a First Class Degree at Portsmouth University. Sam is also the author of the amazing book "What's its like to be Dyslexic" Sam takes us through his life and shares some interesting stories. Enjoy with interview guy

Stephanie Wickens shares her amazing story on how she went from someone who didn't have much confidence growing up into a confident women who didn't let her Dyslexia stop her. Stephanie persevered through life and continued to push forward with her goal of going to university despite being knocked back a couple times. Stephanie graduated with an incredible 2.1. After graduating she worked in a restaurant for a while until she found and returned someone's laptop .. Laura Kirkpatrick is truly amazing. She didn't do too well in school and was labelled as one of the "dumb kids". She was placed in the "Special needs" class but still went on to college to study art. After a few months of college she realized that it wasn't for her. Laura took after her mum and went into modeling, it wasn't an easy journey for Laura but her "don't give up" attitude is what got her through the hardships of life.Laura is now a very successful model with a big following behind her.
