Description

Annette Dolan shares her amazing story about what is it was like growing up in school with Dyslexia. She was forced to leave school at the age of 15 without any qualifications. She worked

Annette had always had a talent for art, and after saving and scrimping she got the money together for a stained glass course. She became skilled enough at this to start getting paying commissions. Annette grew more confident and then took a big gamble - she moved to the West of England (where her family had moved to London from as a small child) and set up a studio in Bath. She had hardly any money, but she stuck with it. Her business grew, and grew, and now she is one of the most successful businesswomen in this part of Britain. Besides her original studio, Bath Aqua Glass (www.bathaquaglass.com) she has a glass blowing studio, and two other retail shops in central Bath and over 20 employees.
