Only 2 things in life are guaranteed. Death and Taxes. And if we're honest with ourselves, the only facts we know about taxes is that Uncle Sam collects them periodically and is unforgiving when you underpay. And if that wasn't enough, at any given moment, laws can change to adapt to our economic climate. This episode is an oversimplified crash course on taxes to give you a better understanding of what taxes are, where they go, who benefits from it, how to use it to your advantage, as well as learn how black sheep companies evade taxes and ruin it for the rest of us. It's the ultimate episode for every living being who pays taxes. Follow me on instagram for more How to Adult behind the scenes.

I enjoy this podcast and I look forward to additional episodes. I'm particularly curious on how to invest and whatnot. My job has a retirement plan among other benefits, in which I've increased contributions on, however I'd like an expansive explanation of many different types of investment. As I mentioned above, I believe this is a decent podcast but if I could offer one suggestion, when you switch from the interview to the music during intermission, the music is WAY too loud. I set the dialogue volume to a comfortable level, and then all of a sudden I'm blasted with loud music. If you could even this out in future episodes, I'd be grateful.
