In this episode, I hung out with an amazing black man. In my eyes (my guest) is the epitome of carrying on the baton of black power history. He is proud of his roots and his blackness his story is built on embracing the spirit of ubuntu. He elaborately spoke about his life growing up  and the work that his grandfather started in the south as a minister that later on impacted the current work that he does. As a union organizer, he believes   in collective power within the community to create solutions. The past few weeks have seen global mobilization of Nigerians and Panafaricanist take to the streets while protesting against police brutality. The trending hashtag #ENDSARSNOW has started a revolution towards disbanding the special anti Robbery squad. This unit that was formed in 2017 has been using excessive force on its people. There have been reports of people profiling based on their dress code and as crazy as this may sound (using an iPhone as your preferred cellphone of choice) yes you read that right.  In this episode, I take you through a few African countries as I compare the key issues that affect us as a continent. For Africa to thrive, these cancerous systemic patterns in corruption, police brutality, greed, etc has to come to an end. I challenge you the listener, in playing your role towards effecting change.
