The Lady Code

Welcome to Lady Code, a passion project between two sisters/friends. For years, we have enjoyed talking and getting deep into everything health, wellness and spirituality. What's worked for us and what hasn't. We've shared so many fun experiences that have challenged us and forced us to grow in big ways. This podcast is our outlet, place for real talk and continued conversations between us, as well as inspiring guests. With each episode we hope to dig deep into a wide range of topics surrounding health, wellness and spirituality, nothing is off limits, while sharing some good laughs.

Take Up Space and Level Up with Kyra Morrison

We are so happy to share this conversation with Kyra Morrison.  Kyra is a yoga teacher, holistic nutritionist and reiki energy worker but also so much more. Originally from Mississauga Canada, Kyra found a love for travelling and in turn found themselves through experiencing different cultures and embracing the art of spontaneity. We enjoyed Kyra’s insight on navigating life and their drive to heal and grow and their commitment to their practice and rituals. Kyra has a passion to share their passion in hopes to help others level up and find true healing. Kyra is an example of what it means to be a work in progress, because the work is never done but it’s the moments in between that matter.  When we take a step back and admire how far we’ve come and all the work that we’ve put in, we have the opportunity to truly appreciate all that we have in this life and shift our perspective. We really hope this episode resonates with you and hope you enjoy listening to Kyra and feel inspired. If you want to get to know Kyra more, be sure to follow them on instagram at: @kyraczm To keep up with what we're up to, head over to: @theladycodepodcast

A Balanced Boss - Chelsey Jade Curtis

This week we sat down to chat with Chelsey Jade Curtis. She is an holistic health coach, podcast host and the co-creator of the Balanced Boss Course. An online webinar style course that combines her knowledge of health and her best friend Jaci’s knowledge of business and being an entrepreneur in a millennial world. Just Breathe: Our Experience with Breathwork

On this week’s episode we are talking all things Breathwork. Our experiences during past sessions and Sam’s decision to become a Breathwork Practitioner. Sam goes into detail about her program and how she is both healing her traumas through the breath while also learning how to conduct Breathwork sessions with others so that she can be a resource to those struggling to break free from their own anxiety and trauma. Kellyn shares her experience with previous Breathwork sessions and talks about the session she had with Sam - what came up for her and what she was feeling. This leads to us discussing the origins of trauma within our own lives, how it manifests within the body and that trauma looks different for each person. We also touch on dealing with trauma of those who have passed and our faith in something bigger and something after this human life. Of course, we talk about Radical Forgiveness and how we are working on setting our souls free from the pain we’ve experienced throughout our lives. Sam explains the breath technique CCB or Conscious Connected Breathwork and goes into detail about the physical and mental benefits of this technique (or Breathwork in general). Breathwork is a powerful tool and Sam is so excited to be sharing this episode and her experience with our listeners. She is also available if you are curious to learn more about Breathwork or if you would like a session with her. We are both so happy to incorporate our practices and passions into this podcast and share techniques with you to truly live in alignment with your best self.
