Defense Minister Israel Katz on Monday lifted the "Special Situation on the Home Front" in southern Israel, after two years since the start of the military operation targeting Hamas. Nevertheless, on today's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten says that while things seem to be returning to "normal," the war isn't over as long as the enemies of the Jewish People continue to seek our destruction.

The Gaza war isn’t over yet, it’s only paused. As Israel’s Defense Minister orders a new plan to defeat Hamas, global leaders weigh in on the fragile ceasefire. President Trump warns that Israel could resume operations “as soon as I say the word,” while Egypt hosts the next phase of his peace plan focused on disarmament and a technocratic Palestinian government.
Meanwhile, twenty hostages have been freed, nine bodies returned, and Gaza experiences its first day without Israeli forces. But with tensions rising and Hamas still holding out, peace hangs in the balance.

The Hamas terrorist organization has already violated the U.S.-brokered ceasefire deal with Israel by failing to give back the bodies of the Israeli hostages they murdered in captivity. At the same time, Hamas terrorists ambushed and killed two Israeli soldiers HY"D on Sunday. Israel retaliated, but only hours later, said it was re-instituting the ceasefire. On this week's Israel Uncensored, Josh Hasten says that no doubt Hamas will see how far they can push Israel and get away with it without the Jewish state declaring the deal null and void.

Josh says that Kirk represented a voice of moral clarity both on domestic issues in the U.S. and was a staunch supporter of Israel. The murder suspect was taken into custody as the investigation now proceeds.

Daniel explains how they have changed the face of the Old City, the City of David and the surrounding areas in the Shiloach and Mount of Olives and more.
It’s a small comfort for the grief but the Jewish return to the homeland en masse was prophesied and is coming true. No one said it would be easy and it’s not.

During the recording of this week's Israel Uncensored with Josh Hasten, the news broke that 15 Israelis were wounded, two seriously in a Jerusalem terrorist shooting attack. Before the news broke, Josh discussed the latest posts by President Donald Trump warning Hamas that this was their last chance to return the hostages in order to begin negotiations towards ending the war. However, Prime Minister Netanyahu continues to insist that in addition to Hamas releasing the hostages, the terrorist organization must be disarmed before the war can end.
