While the ins and outs of tax-policy can get rather thorny, one thing that is reasonably straightforward is that for far too long, the system of taxation in the United States has been grossly unfair to the health of this country.  While it is not the intent of this discussion to climb into the weeds and put the listener to sleep, I do make an attempt here to get people to realize and understand that simply arguing over marginal individual tax rates is truly missing the forest for the trees.
In Episode 1, I claimed that the OLC's memos from 1973 and 2000 utilize flawed reasoning to conclude that a sitting president is immune from criminal indictment.  A listener asked for a further explication of why, legally and constitutionally, the OLC got it wrong both times; this episode responds to that request.
On multiple levels, the question already has been asked and answered as to whether a sitting president can be indicted -- the answer is yes.

I did find this one easier to follow. i'm a proponent of AOC's marginal tax rate. I've often thought it would make sense to have a flat tax rate (5-10%), but no deductions/ loopholes and you don't start paying into it until you reach a certain threshold - based on agreed poverty levels - ie you earn 50,000 you owe 5,000, you make 1B, you owe 100M. the wealthy are so disproportionately ahead that I figure this to be fair and balanced. I agree with your ideas about corporations paying their fair share
