Let me ask you a simple question, ready? Are you wise? It is a tricky question, because there are so many factors that decides if a person is wise or not. One person can be extremely knowledgeable in an area of life but be absolutely foolish in another area of life. One person can be very wise in understanding but ignorant in it's application. The only person who lived with knowledge, understanding and was the perfect embodiment of wisdom is Jesus. Jesus' little brother James, was a practical person and in James 3, he brings the implications of wisdom to practical application to encourage believers to grow and become more and more like Jesus. Ready to grow? ready to be challenged? Ready to become more and more like Jesus? Get your bibles to James 3, here comes the warning on wisdom.

After years of going to church, participating in mission trips and raising children in church the enemy still attacks believers in the war between faith and works. The weariness of working for salvation can leave you feeling hopeless, and relying on faith devoid of works can leave you in doubt, both extremes are Satan's playground in a believer's life. James confronts these extremes and simply states, that faith without works is dead, and he puts meat on this truth in chapter 2. This is where we are going to be, if you are tired of the tug o war of faith vs. works stay right here, you are going to be equipped to walk in victory.
Charity and good works are common and expected in a Christian community, but the bible calls us to even greater depths of care and love. The bible challenges us to look past a person's disabilities, poverty and circumstances and focus on their purpose. This is a message that has to encourage you if you feel inadequate to be a part of God's Kingdom to serve, and it is a call to those who take for granted their status and have begun to look down on those who might not have the qualifications or resources. James tells it like it is, we'll be in chapter 2 in the book of James.
As believers we are activated by The Holy Spirit to be set into action for The Kingdom of God. Just like the early church we too have a responsibility as believers to serve in God's Kingdom, but in order to be functional, God prepares us, transforms us and liberates us and sets us up for action. In today's message, James challenges us in areas where we need the quickening of The Holy Spirit in order to walk out this new life we've been activated to live.
How many times have you found yourself in a place where you thought you knew for certain that it was God leading you, only to find out that you were deceived from the path of destiny to destruction? Do we realize that the enemy can also use scriptures to get you off the path of victory? In a war that is filled with deceit how does a believer stay from straying? This is the assignment I have received from The Holy Spirit for us through The Word of God from James 1. I am coming in hot and heavy with a Word that will shine the light on the Deception's that are warring on your Destiny.

Repentance is great! When you change your life around it is like you have entered a new dimension, with time, energy and focus on your hands. While changing for the better is good, it is crucial for us to examine the motives behind the change. Running after change for the wrong reasons can set us back, when the object of our inspiration lets us down. Religion, relationships, culture, and values have all been great reasons for us to make a change in our lives, but the change that Jesus calls us to is backed up with His Righteousness, Power and Purpose, this change is a positive change that points us towards purpose, everything else is a false positive. Stay tuned as we tear down the idols of false positives which are nothing but failures waiting to be birthed.
