A couple of years ago, I published a short series of podcasts called "Stress less in 2020 " which introduced a more "mindful approach" to managing stress and building resilience. The aim was to give listeners some simple and practical tools and techniques to help them a little through the Covid Crisis. (The original podcasts are still available under the new title). I'd like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has listened so far, I hope you've found something useful to apply during some really challenging times.Throughout the last few years, I've continued to deliver a variety of Mindfulness Programmes and many of my participants have asked me to record some guided meditations for them to follow during their own practice. So....I've decided to do just that! This episode includes a simple "eating meditation" using chocolate, which gives us another way to practise mindfulness. It will take just over 10 minutes and can be done at anytime during the day (provided you're not driving!). So, why not grab some chocolate, sit down and "Take a break...stress less!"I hope you've enjoyed the podcast (and the chocolate) - if you have, why not leave a comment? As always, if you have questions or would like information about an 8 week mindfulness programme or any of the other series I offer, please feel free to contact me by email: info@mindfulalchemy.co.uk or my Instagram page: nr_mindfulalchemy or my website: www.mindfulalchemy.co.ukProduced by: Dean Vernals (wtncpodcast@mail.com)Music:"Windswept" by Kevin MacLeodLink: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/4629-windsweptLicense: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/"Elf Meditation Preview" by Kevin MacLeodLink: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/5728-elf-meditation-previewLicense: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/A huge "thank you" to Dean for his encouragement and production work.

This is the third episode of the Stress less in 2020" podcast . Of the episodes published so far, this is probably the most timely as, here in the UK, we are entering the second week of a national lockdown. In this episode you'll find a brief explanation of what resilience is, why it's beneficial and some simple guidance as to how it might be enhanced/developed. To continue the theme of mindfulness, it also includes a version of a "Lovingkindness Meditation" that not only encourages "self-care and compassion" but also enables a way of staying connected with family and friends during this challenging time of social distancing. If you'd like information about an 8 week Mindfulness Programme or any of the other services I offer, please feel free to contact me by email: info@mindfulalchemy.co.uk or my Instagram page: nr_mindfulalchemy Here are some useful links:https://www.positivityresonance.com/index.htmlhttps://www.markormrod.com/about-mark/Produced by: Dean Vernals (wtncpodcast@mail.comMusic: "Windswept" by Kevin MacLeodLink: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/4629-windsweptLicense: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/"Elf Meditation Preview" by Kevin MacLeodLink: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/5728-elf-meditation-previewLicense: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0A huge "thank you" to Dean for his encouragement and production work.
