Featuring vaccine hesitancy in the dental practice. With the current/looming Covid 19 Vaccination now mandatory for dental staff, it is inevitable that some of us may need to manage some team members who may not agree with this new requirement. As someone who is pro vaccine and a practice manager leading a team through this pandemic, I obviously have a firm belief about this situation but I didn't want that to be the focus of this episode. Generally I want to share with you my approach to managing teams and encouraging them to adopt new policies and procedures when they naturally don't agree to them at first. This involves making a simple mindset shift that has helped me guide teams to peacefully adopting new policies/processes. It is versatile and applicable to nearly every new process you want to implement in your practice. Let me know if you already have shifted your mindset this way or if you may need help...? I would love to hear from you and assist if you need in the comments and share this with The Morning Huddle community. In this episode, I speak about having values in the practice before you start hiring in order to achieve a successful hire and to make sure you and your team are better prepared to welcome a new employee. It can get pretty busy and chaotic in the practice that we forget to refer back to our values to drive our team closer together so let this episode be a reminder to review and reinforce your practice values in your next team meeting!  All resources mentioned in the podcast can be downloaded from The Morning Huddle Facebook Group under files:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/210685527687495/?ref=share Simon Sinek, my mentor in leadership:  https://youtu.be/IQuYzXWXDqI WATCH the podcast on IGTV: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CT1igBnDL9o/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet LISTEN to the podcast on other channels: https://msha.ke/themorninghuddlepodcast//#links Follow the podcast on:  Instagram:  www.instagram.com/themorninghuddle.podcast/ Facebook:  www.facebook.com/themorninghuddle.podcast/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/themorninghuddlepodcast #dentalpracticemanagement #dentalbusiness #dentaltraining #practicemanagement #healthcarerecruitment #dentalrecruitment #dentistry #dentist #dentalassistant #dentaljobs #dentalreceptionist #dentalpracticemanager #dentalpracticemanagers #oralhealththerapy #dentalpractice #australiandentist #australiandentistry #australiandental #dentalpatients #dentalpatient #patientexperience #treatmentcoordinators #newpatients #dentalleadership
Hello everyone! Thank you for tuning in to the podcast :) In this episode, I speak with Amanda, the Treatment Coordinator from North Sydney Dental Practice to learn more about what her role entails and how she provides benefits to the dentist, support team and most importantly her patients! The Treatment Coordinator role may be something you're ready to implement at your practice or this might be a role you want to step up to. Either way, we should always be ready and aware of ways we can improve the patient service in our practices.  Don't miss an episode of The Morning Huddle Podcast - follow (or WATCH) the podcast on Instagram: www.instagram.com/themorninghuddle.podcast/ All free resources mentioned in the podcast can be downloaded from the Facebook group under the files tab:  https://www.facebook.com/groups/210685527687495/ I would love to know what you thought of today's episode:  christina@themorninghuddle.com.au

Hi guys! In this short and sweet episode, I talk about the behaviours I always look for when hiring new team members in the dental practice. With time and experience, I have seen first hand what happens when we overlook behaviour and how it can cost the practice more time, stress and money in the long run. I hope this helps you in your hiring process and that you successfully select an amazing new team member for your practice.  You can download the free resources and tools mentioned in today's episode on Instagram via the link in bio.  If there is something you would like to discuss 'at' The Morning Huddle, I would love to hear from you.
