Jamie had a passion for sport from a young age in gymnastics and rugby before much later finding a new adventure in crossfit. Born and raised in New Zealand, a small island deep in the south, she's now based in Abu Dhabi. Jamie works as a personal trainer/coach at Crossfit Yas where she also trains as a Crossfit Athlete. It can be excused in these stories of individuals being called selfish but that's the commitment you need in order to be fully focused on the vision ahead. Yes it can be a lonely road but the reward at the end is worth it.
Evania Pelite is an amazing athlete. She started her rugby pro at seventeen and three years later went on to win her first Gold Medal at the Rio Olympics, and is now looking for her second in 2021 in Tokyo. But to be awarded a gold medal puts you in the 1% elite group. And it doesn’t come without the sacrifices and setbacks on the road to glory. But if you want to reach the best, you have to do whatever it takes to be the best.
Genah has an amazing outlook on life. She has a competitive nature, and thrives on overcoming any challenges she faces to achieve greatness. In this episode we talk about: The transition from track and field to kickboxing. Her openess to explore new adventures in sport and culture. The competitive inner nature that kept her wanting more, and moving from sport to sport. Genah's beliefs in the higher power, and putting out to the universe what you want, and what you're willing to work for. What it feels to be the Womens Muay Thai World Champion. When she was approached by the PFL President for an opportunity to fight in the Professional Fighters League, Genah was already working on her ground game. At the young age of 30 Genah has already achieved so much in life but she is not stopping yet. Even if she decided to retire now, she has worked in the corporate world where she held a very financially secure position before she chose to get after her dreams. There's so many lessons we can take from Genah here, one thing for sure is you only live once so open your wings and explore this great world we have for a very short time. 
Anthony shares a powerful story that could move a nation. In this episode we talk about:  His childhood from the age of three to fourteen he had moved into six different foster care homes until adopted by an all white poor family.  The willingness to work hard, and learn the game of football opened opportunities. He was offered a full scholarship to the University of Oregon, and then went on to become a NFL Professional.  Hard lessons he learnt of becoming your own boss when he opened his own gym.  One evening he had enough and decided he wanted to end his own life. How one conversation with a close friend was a lightbulb moment that started the creation of the Identity Shift.  Anthony has a natural gift, and his ability to connect with a crowd is easy to understand when you hear of his incredible journey. Like many of his audiences he leaves in awe, I believe that you too will be emotionally taken on a rollercoaster ride when you experience the 'shifts' that got him to where he is today. 
Sene's rise to the top in the womens rugby international is such an uplifiting story. In this episode we talk about: The first point of role as a partner and wife in support of her husband George in his professional rugby contract abroad. Her personal battle with anorexia for a couple of years, and the amazing support of close family and friends to get her through it. The cultural values and it's important part in her life. Sene is an example of true grit and resilience that we're not defined by the obstacles we face in life but how we choose to break through them. 
Ray Sefo, also known as Sugarfoot is a six-time Muay Thai World Champion and three-time Combat Sports Hall Of Famer.  In this episode we talk about:  his humble upbringing being the second youngest, and his first found love for martial arts.  the importance of having an open mind to eplore, and grow by experiencing different styles out there from Kung Fu to Boxing to Jiu Jitsu.  Ray's aha moment that seperates the Professional Fighters League to other Mixed Martial Art competitions.  having big dreams is real, and the one key factor that most successful people do to make it become a reality.  the toughest opponents he has come up against.  Ray has had a very successful career in mixed martial arts as an athlete, and now a businessman. His resilience through his experiences in the ring, square and octagon is something that can't be taught. He's not only a champion, but a great believer in seeing the good things in life. 
Nasi Manu is a professional rugby player and a Super Rugby champion. He represented Ikale Tahi (Tonga) at the 2019 Rugby World Cup. But his greatest win in life was beating cancer. He shares about his moments of vulnerability when he received the news and was diagnosed of testicular cancer.  Nasi talks about his mental shift to battle the chemotherapy sessions. And he speaks of people that you wouldn't really think of that he would draw strength, encouragement and support from apart from his very own family.  His journey fighting through cancer gave him a new appreciation for life, and gratitude to be back playing the sport he loves. 
Bryon is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist. In this episode he shares some valuable lessons from his own relationships which has helped him to connect with his clients on a more human level.  He talks about focusing on self reflection after the failure of his first marriage, and how it helped him to delve deeper to highlight areas he needed to continue working on to be a better person, and a better partner. Relationships is a teamwork which require patience, trust, being good listeners and more. There’s always room for improvement, we just have to be willing.  Bryon has a special gift as a stand up comedian, and he allows that natural talent to soften difficult talking points. With 20 years of experience as a therapist, he still takes great joy in making counseling feel comfortable, and a place that allows couples and families to be authentic, whereby positive changes become more possible.  
Joel is a successful professional rugby league player. That's what the people see.  What they don't know is the challenges he faced growing up that involved drug, abuse and violence. He very candidly speaks of his mother who suffered from mental health issues and drinking addictions. Joel shares about years later and his own struggles with the drink, and how he overcame it to not depend on it. His inner strength to put his past behind him helped Joel create 'The Mindset Project'. Through his speaking engagements, he shares his story with the hope to help, and inspire others that they are not alone, and there are qulaified people available that provide help and support they need to break through their own life's barriers. 
A little background about Marques, in 2003, he was drafted into the NFL as an offensive lineman, after 5 years of playing in the league, he decided to retire and pursue a career in construction and contracting. At the age of 27, Marques founded a construction company called Kayden Premier Enterprises. The company had fast growth and in 2010, Marques won The African American Subcontractor of the Year Award in the state of Maryland. Eventually his business went bankrupt, losing almost 2 million dollars on one project in a matter of 90 days. During his darkest hours, he pulled himself together, got a part-time job as a custodian and with hard work and determination became an inspirational keynote speaker, executive coach, best-selling author and marketing leader, helping to build the success of others.
Matthew grew up in a loving and supportive family environment which is a strong connection that’s helped him grow to being a peoples person. This has driven him throughout his career with his first job working in prisons in NZ, and then the child and adolescent mental health in the UK before taking on the mental health manager role at the Australian Institute of sport.  In this episode we talk about his journey to become a clinical psycologist.  Matt shares about mental health and mental illness, and the difference?  He speaks about the process of stepping away from his professional role on a day to day basis, and into a husband, friend, brother, son or father's role. Matt talks about what you as a friend can do to help your mate or close relative that may have suicidal thoughts. He shares how we all go through different stages of mental health. Our daily experiences of ups and downs is a normal sign of mental health.  Through this episode Matthew provides resources that have experts, and people on services that can give you the best advice to help you or a friend or close relative that may need it.
Isa Nacewa is a well respected champion not only in the rugby environment but also in business. His attitude to embrace challenges and find solutions to overcome them is part of the reason he's won the European Rugby Champions Cup on four occasions, and also awarded player of the year in 2011.  He shares about dealing with pressure in professional rugby, and now able to carry over these skillsets into a new chapter as a registered financial adviser.  Isa speaks of the importance of leadership, and encouraging the young newcomers to be comfortable in the new environment and the freedom to express themselves.  He also talks about setbacks during his rugby career, and the power of having a positive mindset. He's big on having self belief that you have the ability to overcome anything in sport or life that may bring new challenges, you just have to trust yourself first and that you can do it!  
Sione Faumuina was a gifted professional athlete who went on to write his own book titled 'The Second Phase'. The epiphany moments he speaks of in his book is the self development, and realisation of his business entrepreneurialship .  From this he created the Athlete Empire Academy. Sione shared times of vulnerability in his story that many can relate to. There're many lessons we can take from his journey whether you're an athlete or not. One of the biggest lessons is that we must embrace failure. And it's through those experiences that we will have our greatest personal growth.
Greg Flowers is one of the nicest person I have ever met. He's a super talented musician and an entrepreneur with a special message he promotes through his fashion brand the Global Mind Apparel. He speaks of the challenges he faced through building the clothing brand and how he overcame them to continue pushing forward. Greg shares about the message behind his Global Mind Apparel, and 3 tips for young ambitious entrepreneurs who want to try their hand in the fashion industry. 
LeCharles Bentley is a former professional football player who was a centre in the National Football League for six seasons, he was also recognised as the best centre in the country.  He takes us through his experience from high school then into the professional world. He speaks of his injury, and the journey through the dark times, and how he came out stronger on the other end.  LeCharles shares how he learnt valuable lessons from a bunch of 8-9 year olds which led to build the OLP (Offensive Line Performance) business.  He talks about what made him walk away from the game.  And he loved the game so much he needed to find a way to extract all the knowledge and experience he had, on to the next O-Line athletes that were coming through the door.
