The Nutrient Famine

Both the health crisis in the US (according to the CDC, 6 out of 10 people in the US have a chronic disease) and our environmental crisis (water and land pollution, as well as climate change) are substantially linked to our current agricultural process (pesticides, herbicides, other chemicals and GMOs) and our food distribution system (where our vegetables and fruits travel thousands of miles, and what we call fresh is 2 to 3 weeks old, while everything else is chemically processed). The US spent $3.7 trillion on health care in 2018. 10,000 studies prove 95% of Americans are nutrient starved.

Podcast 12 The Blue Zone, The Gut and Regeneration

We have been talking about the importance of water for health. The water source for most farm plants weather industrially grown or organically grown and let’s not even talk about foreign grown, you would never drink. Since vegetables are 70 to 96 percent water, you drink that water every time you eat most vegetables and fruits. For the next several weeks, we are talking about the Gut, the Second Brain. Last week, we reported that many top scientists and physician think that Hippocrates the father of western medicine might be right. More than 2000 years ago, he said,” diseases start in the gut. We introduced RIGHT REGENERATION as a key to being healthy over a 100 years. On a molecular level, every cell in your body is undergoing a constant process of coming into and out of being We usually see changes in our body overs years but like a new conceived fetus there are trillions of changes and microadjustments occurring every moment in each cell, completely building tissue and regenerating damaged and diseased tissue. On the most basic level, regeneration follows from removing what the body does not need and adding back what it does. Many of you wanted to know more about Right Regeneration. Lets see how Right Regeneration impacts the 3 concepts from podcast 10 and 11. First, The Immune System - Up to 80% of the immune system is in the gut. There are more than 80 different known autoimmune diseases. Now diseases like Alzheimer and heart disease are on the list. What is an auto immune disease, it is your immune system attacking you. Instead of regeneration, the body is attacking good tissue. Second, The Microbiome. A healthy gut has more 300 trillion bacteria, fungi, protozoa and viruses. They weigh as much as 5 lbs. These microorganisms for example help digest our food, regulate our immune system, protect against other organism that cause disease, produce vitamins, proteins, hormones and an even the enzyme necessary to burn fat. Antibiotics can severely damage our microbiome. And guess what, antibiotics are in most meat, what about vegetables and fruits? The active ingredient in Roundup Monsanto and now Bayer’s key product on almost everything edible was patented as an antibiotic. And if that was not enough to cause the epidemic of disease, any food containing a preservative is usually an anti-microbial. Finally, we told you, the gut is not just connected to the brain but to 12 key organs. The gut has many ways to communicate to the brain. It has a direct way to communicate faster than the blink of an eye. The vagus nerve communicates in .01 seconds. Your gut muscles respond like your face muscles, in a flash. But the brains impact on this critical pathway of regeneration is startling. The vagus nerve provides the primary control for the nervous system's parasympathetic division: the rest-and-digest counterpoint to the sympathetic nervous system's fight-or-flight response. When the body is not under stress, the vagus nerve sends commands that slow heart and breathing rates and increase digestion. In times of stress, control shifts to the sympathetic system, which produces the opposite effect. Stress or fear sends a signal to the gut to stop absorbing nutrients. In other words, when the body is in a flight/fight mode, it tells the gut to stop working so the body can prepare to fight or run. Most experts believe it is difficult for the body to be in a regenerative mode and stress mode at the same time. A significant amount of information suggests it may be impossible to be in both modes at the same time. Next, week we will give you a technique Harvard recently publish to use before eating to switch to the regenerative mode. We will also talk about how the gut effects the brain. The Gut can send neurochemical that signal you to feel peaceful, sleepy, happy and even a desire to hug or cuddle.

The Blue Zone, The Gut and the Brain

America was 5th in life expectancy but now some reports have us at 35th and others as low as 49th. We are talking about getting out of the Nutrient Famine and living in the Blue Zone. The Blue Zones are Communities in the world where people have an average life and health span of over 100 years. Last week, we reported the disturbing fact that 40 million Americans will experience some form of gut poisoning from food every year. While some of that poisoning may cause minor discomforts, most of it may have long term consequences. In fact, many top scientists and physician think that Hippocrates the father of western medicine might be right. More than 2000 years ago, he said,” diseases start in the gut. Additionally, we told you, if you flatten out the gut it has more surface area than a tennis court. Why is this critical, because every inch has to be defended from attacks from things the body comes in contact with. That is why up to 80% of the immune system is in the gut. And 100% of your T cells that regulate the immune system are in the gut. We now know that diseases, like Type 1 diabetes, Rheumatoid arthritis, Psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis, Multiple sclerosis, lupus , Inflammatory bowel disease are autoimmune. There are more than 80 different autoimmune diseases. Now diseases like Alzheimer and heart disease are on the list. More about this critical fact later. Next, we told you that the while every cell in the body, including bone cells, heart cells, and brain cells can regenerates every 7 to 10 years, the lining of the stomach regenerated the fastest. Every 7 days! Why is this important, because RIGHT REGENERATION is a key to being healthy over a 100 years. In the Blue Zone, there is RIGHT REGENERATION. More about how to regenerate your body and stay young and healthy. Finally, last week we told you, a healthy gut has more 300 trillion good bacteria. Those bacteria weigh as much as twice that of the brain. We reminded you, that human beings have roughly 20,500 genes, which is less than the water flea and genetically, every person in the world is 99.9 percent the same, each person has a huge array of gut bacteria that is as unique as a fingerprint. What your microbiome or gut bacteria fingerprint looks like and how it functions is based on what you choose to eat, to drink, your environment including what you breathe and touch. The gut is not just connected to the brain but extensive research has identified 12 gut microbiota axes: Gut-brain, -liver,-heart, -skin, -bone, -lung, -thyroid, -pancreas, -kidney, and -eye axes. I have gone down the rabbit hole. There is so much research and yeh lots of noise, 7 minutes is hard. We are on the tip of vast new insight and knowledge. We know the gut has many ways to communicate, for example by the endocrine system and immune pathways, but perhaps the fastest and most direct way for the gut to influence the brain is by the Vagus nerve. Research at Duke University found it signal was 100 milliseconds—faster than an eyeblink. It is a direct connect to the brain. Your gut muscles respond like your face muscles. It has a look for each emotion like as smile or frown on your face. Remember that knot in your stomach when you had to speak in front of the group the first time or some call a nerves stomach. Yeh your stomach has as many expressions as your face. This series will convince you, that the gut impacts your life from birth to death. Podcast 10 The Blue Zone, The Gut, The Second Brain

The health in America should already be declared a state of emergency. We are talking about getting out of the Nutrient Famine and living in the Blue Zone. The Blue Zones are Communities in the world where people have an average life and health span of over 100 years. We have been talking about the importance of water for health. The water source for most farm plants weather industrially grown or organically grown and let’s not even talk about foreign grown, you would never drink. But you drink that water every time you eat most vegetables and fruits. Last week, we talked about the importance of water and obesity. Our bodies need two things to turn fat into energy, enzymes and you know it, water. Obesity is not about blame and shame, it’s about chemistry and culture. Drinking a large glass of cold water before each meal could burn more than 100 calories. For the next several weeks, we are talking about the Gut, the second brain. Several months ago, the surgeon said my 30-year-old relative was 2 hours from dying with a hole in his intestine or gut. He had a belly ache for a week. He went to the doctor and they sent him home twice with some pain pills. The same thing happened when he went to the emergency room at his local Hospital. Fortunately, we got him into a Raleigh Hospital. After two surgeries and 3 months, he is almost functioning normally. Each year, there are an estimated 48 million cases of foodborne illness in the U.S., affecting one in six Americans. More serious cases—around 128,000 per year are admitted to the hospital, and roughly 3,000 die.3 Worldwide the latest report by the World health Organization reports 600 million cases with over 420,000 deaths. Besides water related illnesses, bad food is the next killer. Since half of our vegetables and fruits originate from foreign suppliers this is particularly concerning. The onset time of symptoms after digesting contaminated vegetables and fruits is usually not a few hours but 8 or more hours and generally takes days for the symptoms to manifest. But as you understand the gut, you will see that the condition of your gut is a top determinant of health and longevity. A few facts: 1. The gut flowing from your esophagus to your anus is full of ridges and curves. If you flatten it out it has more surface area than a tennis court. 2. According to researchers at Stanford, the body replaces itself with largely a new set of cells every 7 to 10 years, however, the intestine is the most highly regenerative organ in the human body, regenerating its lining, called the epithelium, every five to seven days. 3. While there are 37 trillion cells in the body, a healthy gut has more 300 trillion good bacteria. Those bacteria weigh as much as twice that of the brain. 4. You may remember that human beings have roughly 20,500 genes, which is less than the water flea and genetically, every person in the world is 99.9 percent the same. In a 2019 Harvard study, 3,500 human microbiome samples, mostly poop samples, produced a "staggering," 46 million "non-redundant genes." In other words, while 99.9 percent of human genes are the same, each person has a huge array of gut bacteria that is as unique as a fingerprint. What your microbiome or gut bacteria fingerprint looks like and how it functions is based on what you eat, and drink and your environment. This series will convince you; the gut impacts your life from death to birth. And just like the known plant nutrients have gone from a few thousand to over 25,000 in 5 years, the explosion of health information and especially the gut is changing everything we thought we knew about health. Your mother was right when she said,” learn to follow your gut!!!” Life in the Blue Zone is a choice The Creator gave us choice. And that choice extends to our health and longevity. The Blue Zone, Water and Obesity

America is in a nutrient famine, as result, according to the CDC or the center for disease control, 6 out of 10 people in America have a chronic disease, Most Americans are sick. And it is killing more people than any pandemic. In 2017, a total of 1.7 million people died from 5 diseases that are mostly preventable, Heart disease, Cancer, Respiratory diseases, Stroke and Alzheimer. And now the first scientific studies of the coronavirus report that if you add obesity to the list of the 5, 94% of the US deaths are people with 1 or more of these diseases. We are talking about getting out of the Nutrient Famine and living in the Blue Zone. The Blue Zones are Communities in the world where people have an average life and health span of over 100 years. We have been talking about the importance of water for health. The water source for most farm plants weather industrially grown or organically grown and let us not even talk about foreign grown, you would never drink. But you drink that water every time you eat most vegetables and fruits. The last couple of weeks, we talked about the importance of water and sleep. Particularly waters impact on the critical sleep hormone. Some of you were surprised that the killer cells, the first line of defense for the immune system deceased by 70% if you had one night of 4 hours of sleep or that your DNA changed in a negative way with more than a week of 6 hours of sleep. Short term you easily catch a virus like the flu or the coronavirus and long-term this behavior increases your chance for cancer. Today, we are talking about Water and Obesity. First, water is a natural appetite suppressant. In a 2014 study, when the stomach senses that it is full, it sends signals to the brain to stop eating. Water can help to take up space in the stomach, leading to a feeling of fullness and reducing hunger. A person may also think that they are hungry when they are thirsty. Drinking a glass of water before reaching for something to eat can help to curb unnecessary snacking. The participants in these studies, experienced a reduction in body weight, body fat, and body mass index. They also reported appetite suppression. Second, water may help with weight loss by temporarily increasing your metabolic rate. In an article Water-induced thermogenesis published in the endocrine society, drinking cold water may increase your total energy expenditure by up to 100 calories per day, because the body expends energy, or calories, by heating up the water for digestion. Third and most important, water is the key ingredient critical to burning fat. Without water, the body cannot metabolize or burn stored fat or even carbohydrates. Lipolysis is the process by which fats are broken down in our bodies through enzymes and water, or hydrolysis. Lipolysis occurs in the fatty tissues that cushion and line our bodies and organs. Breaking down this “potential energy” into free moving fatty acids can then allow them to be repurposed or expended as fuel! Bottomline, drinking enough water is essential for burning off fat from food and drink, as well as stored fat. Now I have been studying water for 25 years, so I am simply giving you highlights. I have studied pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals for 35 years. So, remember while the law of entropy says things move to disorder without an input of energy. You know like cords or hoses getting tangled with no effort. Synergy is when 1 plus 1 equal 10 for example instead of 2. So, the big picture is as important as a single or multiple input. In the Blue Zone, synergy rules. Obesity is not about blame and shame, it is about chemistry and culture. Simply, try drinking a large glass of cold water before each meal. It may help you achieve your goal. More about obesity and malnutrition later. Life in the Blue Zone is a choice, Good Food is Healing and Regenerative Medicine Next week, the Gut, Your second Brain

And it is killing more people than any pandemic. In 2017, a total of 1.7 million people died from 5 diseases that are mostly preventable, Heart disease, Cancer, Respiratory diseases, Stroke and Alzheimer. And now the first scientific studies report that if you add obesity to the list of the 5, 94% of the US deaths and Bloomberg reports 99% of Italian deaths from the coronavirus were people already sick with one of these preventable diseases. We are talking about getting out of the Nutrient Famine and living in the Blue Zone. The Blue Zones are Communities in the world where people have an average life and health span of over 100 years. We have been talking about the importance of water for health. The water source for most farm plants, industrially grown or organically and let’s not even talk about foreign grown, you would never drink. But you drink that water every time you eat most vegetables and fruits. Last week we talked about the importance of water and sleep. Particularly waters impact on the critical sleep hormone. Some of you were surprised that the lack of sleep decreased the hormone testosterone enough to shrink men’s testis by 50% if they only slept 5 hours but estrogen also shrinks. Ladies, while we know that estrogen helps develop and maintain both the reproductive system and female characteristics. Estrogen contributes to cognitive health, bone health, the function of the cardiovascular system, and other essential bodily processes. The proper level is critical to wellbeing. Today, we are talking about additional immune system problems by sleeping less than 8 hours. Immune killer cells but first let us talk about sleep and your DNA on the immune system. In this study, they took healthy adults and limited them to 6 hours of sleep a night for a week. They then measured their gene profile as compared to 8 hours of sleep a night. There were 2 critical findings. First, more than 700 genes that impact your immune system were distorted in their activity. Roughly half of those genes decreased in activity and half increased in activity. The genes that were switch off usually increased immune response. The genes that were turned on were associated with increased tumors, long term chronic inflammation and stress that impacts the cardiovascular system. Insufficient sleep literally damages the very fabric of life itself, the DNA. Now, what about your Killer cells. Your immune system has Natural killer cells that kill tumor cells and virus-infected cells without having been previously exposed to them. They control or stop the viral infections while the adaptive immune response is generating specific T cells that can clear or defeat the infection. In other words, if you have plenty of killer cells it stops infections before they get started and spreads. Likewise, the body is being attacked by millions of nanotumors but these killer cells stop them from becoming cancer especially in the prostate, breast and colon. Now, just one night of only 4 hours of sleep dropped the number of killer cells by not 10%, 30% or 50% but 70%. 70% less killer cells. And that’s why when you hang out all night you can easily catch a cold, the flu or the coronavirus the next day. But if you make this sleep pattern a habit, studies show an increase risk to cancer, especially prostate, breast and colon. There is simply no aspect of sleep deprivation that allows you to get away unscathed. We are still talking about the lack of water on sleep. Insufficient good water results in poor sleep, and the shorter your sleep, the shorter your life. Good and Plenty water is critical for Sleep and the Immune System Life in the Blue Zone is a choice Remember It is rarely our DNA

We have been talking about the importance of water for health. The water source for most farm plants weather industrially grown or organically and let’s not even talk about foreign grown, you would never drink. But you drink that water every time you eat most vegetables and fruits. Now the same hydration that helps the brain maintain memory and thought, also helps amino acids cross the blood brain barrier. One of these amino acids, tryptophan, converts to serotonin within the brain. Dehydration can limit the amount of tryptophan that can cross the blood brain barrier, resulting in less serotonin. Since serotonin is linked to a positive mood, inadequate hydration can result in feelings often associated with depression. Serotonin produces melatonin and melatonin is the key hormone to regulate and produce sleep. So, water critical is to sleep and mood. Now, during sleep the body releases several hormones involved in muscle growth, tissue repair and protein synthesis. Cerebrospinal fluid brings essential nutrients to the central nervous system during this time and washes away neurotoxic waste from the brain and spinal column. This ensures that the body recovers from the day before and is prepared for the day ahead. The restorative nature of quality sleep also helps to strengthen the immune system. Skimping on sleep leaves you susceptible to a bad cold or case of the flu. To keep yourself sniffle-free this season, here is what you need to know. Without enough sleep, your body makes fewer cytokines, a type of protein that targets infection and inflammation. Cytokines are both produced and released during sleep, causing a double whammy if you skimp on shut-eye. Chronic sleep loss even makes the flu vaccine less effective by reducing your body’s ability to respond. Getting the recommended seven to eight hours of sleep a night, also protect you from other health issues including heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. For example in the book Why We Sleep, by Professor Matthew Walker, Director of UC Berkeley's Sleep and Neuroimaging Lab, not only are the testis of men who sleep less than 5 hours half the size of men who do sleep 8 hours but testosterone levels of a 40 year old looks like a 50 years old. And consider the more than 1 billion people who switch to day light saving time. Studies show a 24% increase in heart attacks the day after you lose that hour of sleep and a 21% decrease in heart attacks the day after you get that extra hour. The Blue Zone Immune System

America is in a nutrient famine, as result, according to the CDC or the center for disease control, 6 out of 10 people in America have a chronic disease, Most Americans are sick. And it is killing more people than any pandemic. In 2017, a total 1.7 million people died from 5 diseases that are mostly preventable, Heart disease, Cancer, Respiratory diseases, Stroke and Alzheimer We are talking about getting out of the Nutrient Famine and living in the Blue Zone. The Blue Zones are Communities in the world where people have an average life and health span of over 100 years. We have been talking about the importance of water for health. Water represents a critical nutrient whose absence will be lethal within days. The water source for most farm plants weather industrially grown or organic and let’s not even talk about foreign grown, you would never drink. But you drink that water every time you eat most vegetables and fruits. There is very little “Nutrient Security” in America. In America, 40 million people get some form of food poisoning every year. Because of the corona virus, The FDA just suspended inspecting all food both foreign and domestic. Now the immune system is defined as the bodily system that protects the body from foreign substances, cells, and tissues by producing the immune response and that includes especially the thymus, spleen, lymph nodes, special deposits of lymphoid tissue (as in the intestinal tract and bone marrow), macrophages, lymphocytes such as the B cells and T cells, antibodies and much more. Over the next few weeks, we will share key new insights about the immune system. However, as a transition, Let’s talk about water and the immune system. According to the world health organization, 80% of deaths worldwide are related to bad water. Bad water or not enough water can overwhelm the immune system. This number does not account for the delayed disease and death caused by water in plants being contaminated by pesticide, herbicides, fungicides, hormones, antibiotics, or local waste like hog waste in North Carolina, or coal ash putting mercury and cancer causing arsenic in the rivers and ground water near 95% of power plants. or since 2005 the more than 137,000 fracking wells that have been drilled or permitted in more than 20 states. This is especially true in the Midwest where most of the organic vegetables originate or California one of 3 states where over 70% of vegetables and fruit originate. In fact, arsenic, benzene, formaldehyde, lead and mercury may just be just the tip of the iceberg, said Nicole Deziel, an environmental health expert at the Yale School of Public Health and senior author of a new study. The Yale team found 157 other chemicals that are associated with some kind disease, such as reproductive or developmental problem, derailed brain development, infertility, cancer and respiratory illness. And if you do not think this runoff of chemicals is deadly for your health, consider that the runoff of the agrichemicals from the Midwest have created a dead zone in the Gulf of Mexico that measures 6,952 square miles. WOW! Enough about bad water this today, just remember most of your fruits and vegetables which are at least 70% water are filled with water that is slowly poisoning America. It is overloading our immune system and weakening its ability to protect us. Good water especially from plants, is critical to your blood and it flushes toxins. Our immune system relies on our blood stream (which is about 90% water) to transport fluids, nutrients, and important communication signals to organs, so they can better do their job. Without proper hydration, our blood volume goes down, and reduced blood volume means that these transportations don’t work efficiently. Our immune system and its reliance on fluid transport is no different. In a well-hydrated state, our immune system is supported by the Lymphatic system (part of the drainage and sewage system) which removes toxin

America is in a nutrient famine, as result, according to the CDC or the center for disease control, 6 out of 10 people in America have a chronic disease, Most Americans are sick. And it is killing more people than any pandemic. In 2017, a total 1.7 million people died from 5 diseases that are preventable, Heart disease, Cancer, Respiratory diseases, Stroke and Alzheimer Scientific Fact: Our DNA does not Control Our Health & Life Span. Our Choices Determine Our Health & Life Span We are talking about getting out of the Nutrient Famine and living in the Blue Zone. The Blue Zones are Communities in the world where people have an average life and health span of over 100 years. We ID the 4 key traits of these communities. The foundation was having mostly a fresh plant-based diet. But Good Health requires both Quantity and Quality and there is very little “Nutrient Security” in America. In America 40 million people get some form of food poisoning every year. And now, the FDA just suspended inspecting all food both foreign and domestic. Last week, we begin to discuss water. Anything that is alive is at least 70% water. In fact, I said with a brain that is 80% water, we are water beings. Scientific studies show that the water you consume from plants can hydrate the body twice as effectively as a glass of water. Plants structure water. Cucumbers, lettuce, celery, tomatoes, zucchini, spinach, kale, broccoli, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, peaches, oranges, pineapple, apples, and watermelon - These are examples of vegetables and fruits that are 90% or more water. Cucumber’s water content is 96.73% and is a source of potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, and a small amount of calcium. But it also contains a phytonutrient which some evidence suggests could have an antidiabetic effect. Eating your water could help prevent diabetes. What about the watermelon. Well, it is around 90% water and it also provides essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and many phytonutrients. In a 2012 study, researchers found that watermelon extract reduced blood pressure in middle-aged people with obesity and early hypertension. The authors suggested that L-citrulline and L-arginine — two of the phytonutrients in watermelon — may improve the function of the arteries. In a study in 2017 researchers suggested that the Lycopene and other phytonutrients in watermelon — may help protect against heart disease and prostate cancer. Research expect that the Choline in watermelon contributes to muscle movement, learning and memory, the transmission of nerve impulses, and early brain development. One theory even suggests that choline may help slow the progression of dementia in Alzheimer’s disease. A 2014 mouse study concluded that watermelon’s diuretic action might be as effective as that of furosemide, which is a well-known diuretic. This could make it a natural option for people with excess fluid such as swollen ankles. Structured water/plant water is critical for combing with light to create energy in cells. The same hydration that helps the brain maintain memory and thought, also helps amino acids cross the blood brain barrier. When I started this journey 5 years ago scientist had discovered less than 5,000 phytonutrients. Now they have id 25,000. After a planted is harvested it loses water, vitamins, minerals and most of the phytonutrients with each passing day. You need to drink water but eating a lot of your water is better for you. But what you eat has to be nutrient fresh. Life in the Blue Zone is a choice Remember It is rarely our DNA or our family history, its mostly wh

Today we will discuss Water. After creating in Pharmaceuticals and drug design, I was given several revelations about light. When I received the revelation that every wavelength of light had a purpose, I thought to myself that nothing could be more important than light and then the Spirit said “light was 3rd”. When I looked in Genesis 1 it said, the Spirit hovered over the water and God said,” let there be light”. Water was first, sound was 2nd and light was 3rd. I begin to study water and as a result most of my 120 plus patents deal with water. Our bodies are 70% water and our brain is 80% water. In Fact, anything that is alive is mostly water. That includes all plants. If you traveled from another solar system as you approached earth you would see a water planet filled with water beings. You and I are Water Being. Just a few decades ago, water was plentiful and mostly free. Today Bottle water is a 216-billion-dollar industry. Most of us will not drink water unless we know the source. We believe water out of a lake, river or untested well water is dangerous. We do not trust even the tap water at our home or at our place of work. But since 80% of vegetables and fruits are irrigated with water from a lake, river or untested well water and plants are 70% water, we drink contaminated water every time we eat most plants and their fruits. Let me say that again, we drink contaminated water every time we eat most plants and their fruits. Remember this is my journey into hydroponics. The water used for plants is purified. While we’re made up of more than 70 per cent water at birth, if you do not hydrate properly, the cells throughout our body gradually dry up with age, and by the time we reach 50 we are closer to 50 per cent water. You can see your skin drying up but its every organ. You need to hydrate to live. Scientific studies show that the water you consume from plants can hydrate the body twice as effectively as a glass of water. Some companies are selling structured water because the body prefers the water molecules to be organized. Well like all nutrients in plants, water molecules are structured by the plant. This makes water more bio available. You need to drink water but eating a lot of your water is better for you. Life in the Blue Zone is a choice Remember It is rarely our DNA or our family history, its mostly what we choose. The Creator gave us choice. And that choice extends to our health and longevity. And if you are over 65, 85% of Americans are sick. Most Americans are sick. And it is killing more people than any pandemic. In 2017 • Heart disease: 647,000 • Cancer: 599,000 • Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 160,000 • Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 146,000 • Alzheimer’s disease: 121,000 That is a total 1.7 million people dying from 5 diseases that are preventable. Another warning is a 2018 mortality report. CDC Director, Robert Redfield, said "The latest CDC data show that the U.S. life expectancy has declined over the past few years". Good Food is Healing and Regenerative Medicine Every Nutrient the Body needs can be found in Nutrient Secure Plants. Last week, we introduced the Scientific Fact: Our DNA does not Control Our Health & Life Span. Our Choices Determine Our Health & Life Span Lets discuss some evidence- For 25 years, Scientist studied places on the earth where the average person lived healthy over a 100 years. The Blue Zone Study concluded that communities of people with an average life and health span of over 100 years had 4 common traits: • Consumed mostly fresh fruits and vegetables. • Avoided toxic intake of foreign substances • Exercised moderately • Participated in a community with a mindset of health and longevity. Now, The Standard American Diet known as SAD, comprises 4% plants, as results, Americans average a 90% deficit in most vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. SAD or The Standard American Diet is 85% process food and animal products. But even if you eat your vegetables and fruits, Good Health requires Quantity and Quality There is very little “Nutrient Security” in America. Let me give you 8 topics we will discuss. u It’s the water! Plants are 70% water. 80% are irrigated with water we would not drink. But we drink polluted water every time we eat plants. u It’s the soil! The soil has been over farmed and depleted of nutrients. Earth will lose most of its good soil over the next 50 years. u It’s the chemicals! Pesticides, herbicides and insecticides deplete, or inactivate, many of the nutrients in vegetables and fruits plus cause chronic diseases. u It’s the ripening agents! Food is picked too early in order to better withstand shipping, and is artificially ripened in processing centers (e.g., tomatoes are gassed, oranges are dyed, etc.) u It’s the transport! Food is transported long distances due to lower labor costs in Mexico, South America, and China. Nutrient levels can drop as much as 10% every day that food is transported. u It’s the storage! Food is often stored for long periods, which depletes nutrients. Phytonutrients evaporate with the water u It’s the processing! Food is often processed and can lose up to 80% of its nutrients as a result. u It’s the additives! Preservatives and dyes all further deplete the nutritional value of food and destroys the GUT. The good news is that some communities have decided to create their own blue zone. Beach Cities, California - Reduced obesity by 25% and tobacco use by 36% Albert Lea, Minnesota - Reduced health care claims by 49% and increased life expectancy by 3 year Spencer, Iowa - 50% of city workers eliminated one disease risk factor Life in the Blue Zone is a choice, Remember It is rarely our DNA or our family history, its mostly what we choose. The Creator gave us choice. And that choice extends to our health and longevity. Learn how to get you and your family out of the nutrient famine in America and into the Blue Zone. Good Food, is Healing and Regenerative Medicine Every Nutrient the Body needs can be found in Nutrient Secure Plants.

What about my DNA and Family History

America is in a nutrient famine but, Good Food is Healing and Regenerative Medicine. Every Nutrient the needed by the Body is in Nutrient Secure Plants. Problem number 1: For the past 30 years we were told that the genes, your DNA determine most of the destiny of your health. Billions were spent on the genome project. The full sequence was completed and published in April 2003. A startling finding of this project was that the number of human genes appeared to be significantly fewer than previous estimates, which ranged from 50,000 genes to as many as 140,000. They discovered that Human beings have roughly 20,500 genes. As it turns out the water flea has more genes than we do. Genetically, every person in the world is 99.9 percent the same. Though some of the differences that make us unique from one another are genetics, most, maybe as much as 95% are epigenetic. What you do impact which genes are activated and which become, or remain, dormant. In fact, we now know your genes can change. The exciting thing about this discovery is that the way our genes impact who we are and who we become is a fluid process – it is not set in stone. This is why identical twins, who share DNA, become more and more distinct over time. Scientific Fact: Our DNA does not Control Our Health & Life Span. Our Choices Determine Our Health & Life Span The 10,000 scientific papers make it clear that you can add 20 plus years to your life and slash your risk of cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and type 2 diabetes just by your choices. For 25 years, Scientist studied places on the earth where the average person lived health over 100 years. This is the Blue Zone Study. Next week we will discuss the 4 things each of these places have in common. In the meantime, remember the Creator gave us choice. And that choice extends to our health and longevity.
