Description
The SOFT LIFE Chronicles is a podcast about unlearning all the programming I've accumulated over the years and relearning how to live life as the best possible version of myself. Remember we can't choose not to be programmable, but we can choose what we program ourselves with. One life philosophy I am actively practicing is called "The Formula" by Bashar, "acting on my highest passions taking them as far as I possibly take them till I can't any further, then switching to the next most exciting thing, all the while having zero expectation of what the outcome should be."

Thank you to all my OG supporters and a big welcome to the new comers. This is a space which encourages self discovery through exercising self awareness and taking chances in this life. Why does this matter? Because there is no greater pursuit than that of Self.
This 1st episode of the year 2024 is all about making different spaces for ourselves, taking the reigns and exercising the power of choice to bring about whatever it is we want in our lives. We go through a breakdown of setting a foundation of CHOICE in the practice of making SPACES for all sides of yourselves. I take you through some key points on how the power of choosing can shift the trajectory of your life.
The key points which i breakdown and expand upon in this episode have been inspired by a TED talk i recently re-watched, and i encourage all of you to take the time and listen in.

You can expect a new episode every week, which i shall be posting during the weekends, for the foreseeable future.
I look forward to hearing from you all and i shall respond as soon as i get the chance. Have a blessed morning, afternoon or evening from wherever you're listening in from.
We usually associate darkness with being lost and afraid but alternatively when you are in a stage of change and growth which is usually filled with uncertainty and 'darkeness' ; then we become like a seedling planted in the ground where it can grow and gain all the necessary nutrients and resources it requires to turn into full plant.
This I invite you to hold space for in this episode. It has been a while since I posted any episodes and I have been in a state of growth, a state of change. You could say I was planted😏.
I recognise that growth is a continuous process and being planted is something that will happen to me throughout my life. Mine is to see it for what it actually is, an opportunity, and take it in stride.
This is the first of a new segment I'm beginning. I hope it helps you as much as it helps me.
Feel free to leave me any feedback, questions, topics you'd like for me to talk about etc.
Thank you for listening and have a blessed morning, evening, afternoon wherever you are.
This episode was quite impromptu, and I am very glad about how it turned out. The conversation moves from working with the universe to self awareness, to laughing at ourselves as we connect two and two together to sharing some of our experiences....etc. I can't wait for you to join in on these conversations and feel free to reach out, leave a comment, or voice note. Your feedback is very much valued. The podcast is hosted by myself, Erick.M.K ( @pietro_mwa or @erick.m.k_369 ) and my pal Alex ( @earlxdylan ). You could also reach me on my email ( ekamunya1@gmail.com ). ENJOY.
I'm joined by a friend and a fellow podcaster of the channel Dead Boys Society. We discuss our understanding and conceptualization of the statement, "we act like mortals in all that we fear and like immortals in all that we desire" plus everything in between.
We act like mortals in all that we fear and like immortals in all that we desire...thoughts? I would love to get your take on this episode, feel free to share.
I made this particular episode around a time like this last year and to the life of me, don't know how i hadn't published it until now. Listening to it now, it resonates especially in the space I'm currently in and i believe the timing couldn't be better. I look into Moving without fear and limitations and the do's and don'ts of moving with trust. Trying to move away from forcing issues and instead moving with faith and trust. What does that look like to you?
What do you do when what works for you, stops working for you?
Change is always a constant, change in the ways we think, the ways we treat ourselves and the way we handle things etc. Change for the better.
Doing a turn around in the way I live my life.
Tune in to the child in you.
A lot about what we think about is plain worrying or eventually turns to worry and we have gotten so used to this behavior, we actually think that that is how thoughts and thinking should occur naturally. I pull back the curtain on this fallacy and offer you my choosen methods in combating this behavior. Enjoy!
Small details we tend to overlook or ignore have a huge impact in our lives, whether we know it or not. Being aware of and identifying these little things, makes it possible for us to make necessary changes and/or adjustments which open up a whole new world for each and everyone of us. There is power in choices and the first step to taking back this power, is to be aware that it ours for the having. Do not give away your power.
Coming Correct is simply leading with respect. It is
respecting your values and choices and also respecting other people’s values and choices. Coming correct is essential in creating a safe space for yourself, within yourself, and for those around you.
In this episode, I take you along my year-long journey of
navigating challenges, integrating different parts of myself, practicing self-awareness and mindfulness, and being a better friend to myself. I hope that in sharing more of my story and my journey, you listening out there can get to see yourself in me, gain some insight from my story thus far, learn to take better care of yourself by coming correct and creating safer spaces for yourself and
those around you, and simply start or continue being a better friend to yourself.
There is a difference between loving yourself and loving
being yourself. One is conditional on you showing up in a certain way and appealing to a certain aesthetic, while the other is unconditional and gives you the permission to ebb and flow and change and love every bit of the process
of becoming you.
So do you love yourself or do you love being yourself?
Procrastination like doom scrolling are all variations of Avoidance.
In this video, we look at where your avoidance comes from, how shame influences the whole process, and how to begin the journey of better self-management.

Distorted truths lead to distorted perceptions of ourselves, others, our world, and most importantly, our lives. In this video, we begin with the truth of what we actually are, making every other definition of ourselves suspicious/ questionable.
