After catching up with Father Rob, the crew is joined by a HOF Strategy of Fitness alumni Scott Tetlow. Scot recently competed against Colten Mertens in the first ever FitWars 1 v. 1 competition which can be found on YouTube. Scott also talks updates on training, his new gym set up and getting the entire neighborhood into shape. Lastly, the guys do smokes, streams and hitters.
Today, Nick and Dan start with a quick review and some updates for the coming month. They are then joined by Navy SEAL Jeff Nichols. Jeff owns Performance First in Virginia Beach which is an elite training facility designed to prep candidates for selection. Jeff discusses his time in SEAL Teams, his unique views on military fitness preparation and how he has grown and cultivated a one of kind gym culture and experience. Today, the guys welcome in Preston Breece. Preston is a Green Beret and owner of CrossFit Miramar Beach. Preston shares his story of fitness, military experience and eventually opening his gym. The group then discusses the importance of mental health issues, the prevalence of mental health issues in the military community and how exercise and fitness can be used as a positive outlet for those who are struggling.
