In this episode, we are joined by Amir Mehrbakhsh, a Consultant at Reference Point. The credit score is a metric that has been around for quite some time and is used as a way to understand a person's financial behavior.  However, the predictive model behind the score is pretty simple and does not take into account many variables in a person's financials or life. Amir is a fintech and startup enthusiast analyzing how various technologies are changing the way we live our daily lives. In a publication of his, he outlines the concept of "Credit Worthiness" and how a more general AI model can actually predict a person's financial behavior using a multitude of variables across a variety of personas. Also, we briefly talk about the ethical implications of adopting the output of a model that many people do no understand.  Finally, Amir talks about how to get involved in the Data and AI world without a technical background. Find Amir's other insightful articles on:  Medium HERE [https://medium.com/@amirmehrbakhsh] LinkedIn HERE [https://www.linkedin.com/in/amir-mehrbakhsh-83581869/]  Check out the TWR Podcast on:   Instagram HERE [https://www.instagram.com/theweeklyregression/]   Twitter HERE [https://twitter.com/TheWeeklyReg]   LinkedIn HERE [https://www.linkedin.com/company/the-weekly-regression]
