5 ways you can increase your salary 1. Be more visable- “walk the halls”, lead calls, make yourself known, lead LinkedIn conversations and groups    2. Negotiate EVERYTHING- there are many things that are non-salary items that contribute to total compensation    3. Build your brand- be active on social media and contribute to media outlets.   4.  Come to negotiations with data points—prep with hard metrics on why you deserve the raise    5.  Get paid for the job your currently doing- Ensure you’re getting paid NOW what you deserve rather than accepting it when your boss tells you to “do the job for 6 months and then we’ll increase your pay if you’re doing well”. Never accept an increase in scope of work without getting the money first.

Millennials lead the ‘sleep divorce’ trend. Do you need one? It's a distressing phenomenon that haunts my nights: the "sleep divorce." When you're married or living with your partner, the act of "going to bed" can either be a serene conclusion to the day or an endless loop of Groundhog Night, plagued by the torment of counting sheep. According to a survey from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), a third of cohabitating adults have filed for “sleep divorce.” These couples now get their shut-eye in separate beds. They sleep apart to stay together. In this episode, I talk about why it's important to evaluate for yourself.
