Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), once called shell shock or battle fatigue syndrome, is a psychiatric disorder that that can develop following exposure to extremely traumatic events such as interpersonal violence, combat, life-threatening accidents or natural disasters.
Many people with PTSD or other anxiety disorders go through life without being diagnosed, which means they don’t receive effective treatments to combat their PTSD like cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) or even anti-anxiety medication.

Headache is one of the commonest symptoms but little is known about its epidemiology in the general population. The majority of headaches are clinically classified into the two groups-muscle-contraction ('psychogenic' or 'tension') headaches, and migraine. Migraine is described as an episodic headache which is commonly unilateral, usually preceded by premonitory symptoms such as neurological or mood disturbances, and frequently accompanied by nausea and sometimes vomiting and it is also associated with many other symptoms including heightened sensitivity to light, sound, movement and smells, as well as dizziness, brain fog, abdominal pain, speech difficulties, visual disturbances, fatigue and irritability. Some suffer daily impact from the effects of migraine on their brain.

This episode is also available as a blog post: http://mindtuois.home.blog/2021/11/11/vitamin-b12-could-protect-the-brain/
Do you get enough vitamin B12? You'll want to make sure that you do, in order to stay healthy.
Did you know that after age 70, about 1 in 5 people suffer from some kind of cognitive problems.
"Right now, there is no effective treatment for Alzheimer's disease. There are certain factors that you cannot change -- you cannot change the fact that you age, and you cannot change a genetic predisposition to Alzheimer's disease. But one thing you can control is what you eat. If people could change their diet to affect the onset of disease, that would be fantastic. In situ fortification of B12 via fermentation could be a more cost-effective alternative. And as a commonly consumed staple food, grains are excellent vehicles for enrichment with micronutrients.
