Beautiful and consoling. Recommending to others !
I was struck by Thomas Merton saying of social justice workers, not to focus on results. I am often too focused on results. I worry that if I did not get the "right" result, it was my failure to believe, to act, or to convince, when really, God is always doing that which I cannot see over a span of time I cannot fathom. What is failure to me, is a plan to God. I am going to hold on to this.
“I heard there was a secret chord that David played, and it pleased the Lord” (L.Cohen). James Finley totally has that riff down! This interview is gently profound, quintessentially beautiful and strangely uplifting. It realigned my week or life, not sure which yet.
