This weeks podcast features Hannah Reilly and Ben Jenkins. Putt Putt golf vs Quokkas. Eddie keeps falling asleep. But that's ok it's early! Things got very passionate. Hannah slandered Ben relentlessly. Shaz described bacon real good for us too. Most importantly it's the debut of SAD BOYS. Sam, Anith and Eddie go to The Circus and talk to circus people. Enjoy?
This week actor, writer, director and Eddies childhood friend Charlie Garber came in to talk about "Loose Clothing". Also some guy called Garret? No Gareth. Gareth Davies talked about grills or something. Who cares!? Things got pretty heated and there was a lot of bickering. Eddie humiliated Charlie with some gotcha journalism and also told a pretty hectic story about venereal disease that a lot of people thought was maybe "too hot" for radio. Charlie and Gareth were great! Listen, what I'm trying to say is that this is a Champagne Podcast guys. Take a big fizzy sip and maybe you'll learn something. Enjoy?
In this weeks episode the irrepressible Wyatt Nixon Lloyd, the wonderful Gen Fricker and the obligatory Eddie Sharp discuss cooperation, herbal tea and rough sex ... amongst other things. Enjoy?
Happy New Year! This weeks podcast is from Eddies first show after Nick left. Sad face. But not to worry because Radio Professional and Tall Glasses Man Lewis Hobba is there to help. Listen to them bicker about Talking Animals and Weird Al. Also Lewis tells a story about the ABC almost bankrupted a burrito franchise and Eddie reads out the number incorrectly EVERY DAMN TIME
Aaand we're back and podcasting! Missed me? This weeks podcasts features Claudia O'Doherty, Sam Campbell, Vaginal hallucinogens, cackling, sausage sizzles, dog calendars and stacks of awkward rambling convo. Greg Knox won text of the week. Oh and also Sweet Sammy C said "fuck" live on air because he's a grub. Enjoy?
The dirty cockatiel flew high above the opera house … this weeks podcast guest stars writer/director and all round sassy lady Cait Harris. The topics? Crispin Glover vs French Cinema. Also hot gossip, wow unbelievable, guided meditation all that good stuff. Listen up!
Oh what a great pod this was! Nick and Eddie are joined in the studio by Musician, Director, Rapper and all round Pod God: SPOD. Spod discusses Dreamz with wild abandon. Eddie tells you about why he wants to lead a cult. Nick tells you about how he wants to be a prison bitch and also the polar ice caps are melting and it's all Tony Abbotts fault. Also, as always, GUIDED MEDITATION. Lucky you! Enjoy.
This weeks podcast is Gwyneth Paltrow VS The Ghost Army with special guest Ben Harrison. Also covered female incontinence, used condoms, KGB spy radio, miso paste fish, slave owners, GOOP and Guided Meditation.
What is better radio than three dickheads chomping on cheese directly into microphones? Nothing! Listen to us talk Movie Mistakes vs Cheese with actress, friend and funny legend Lucy Wirth. Also discussed: The Worlds Saddest Whale, Eddies crippling loneliness, Lucys crippling horniness, Nicks Grandma, swatches in Ben Hur and penises in TeenWolf. ALSO: A very special Gina Rinehart themed GUIDED MEDITATION. Bon Appe´tit.
In this episode Nick and Eddie discuss their childhoods. Trigger Warning: Eddie was in a gang of tough boyz called "The 007 Blackrats" and Nick was in an all-girl craft gang called "The Butterflies". Figures. We also talk about some cool real life gangs. Also discussed: "Why is the studio broken?", "What's that buzzing sound?" and "Can anybody even hear us?". Oh and GUIDED MEDITATION, obvz. ENJOY!
This weeks podcast features AH Cayley from Backchat talkin' about sleep. Eddie is talking about crows. Other topics covered include Bob Carr, homophobia, azalea banks, stephanie rice, burps, black irish people, dublin, delayed sleep phase disorder, platypuses, The Woolcock Sleep Institute, crow grudges, crow funerals, dog vomit, the Vietnam war and of course GUIDED MEDITATION. ENJOY!!!
This weeks podcast is from a very old episode (May 2013) and WHAT A CORKER! Actor ANNA HOUSTON was our guest and she talked about Sex And The City. Eddie talked about Bunyips. This episode pre-dates "guided meditation" that's how old it is, so ... no meditation soz. Srsly though - great ep. Trust us. BYE!
This weeks podcast is a corker. We had a DOG IN THE STUDIO!!!! Crazy!!!! We discuss Chihuahuas, Zoey Deschanel, Ita Buttrose, Sulky Men, Lazy Screenwriters and so much more. Also Eddie reads our guests palm and Nick introduces his new segment: Wow Unbelievable. Some classic Hot Gossip as usual. We give tips on how to shut down "Pro Life" protesters. Also GUIDED MEDITATION. Enjoy!!
In this episode Nick Coyle and Eddie Sharp discuss dating with Fran Barrett and the atmosphere was ELECTRIC!! Woah! Also Queen B had just dropped her self titled fifth album and we were still reeling, so that was discussed.
This is an old episode AND A GREAT ONE. Nick and Eddie argue over who is better: Gay people or Straight people? Things get hectic. Yes, it's already been podcasted by FBi RADIO but not us ... so lay off. We're being thorough. ENJOY!
This was our first show of 2014 after about a month off. Our Guest? Nat Randall. The battle? Orgasms VS Abandoned Buildings. Was it a good show? YES! We really "went" there. Consider this our submission to the GLAAD awards. Oi, GLAAD committee, listen up!!!
Guess What?! This is one of Nicks favourite shows and one of Eddies least favourite. Also if you haven't seen "Hunger Games - Catch A Fire" then let us just say ... SPOILER ALERT! Everyones favourite person Claudia O'Doherty came all the way from London to talk about JENNIFERS, ripped radio a new one and then got straight back on the plane and went home. Eddie meanwhile was meant to talk about MERMAIDS but instead had some sort of mild brain aneurysm. Sorry. Blame grief. Also covered: GUIDED MEDITATION, Conspiracy Theories and one of the most boring Hot Gossip segments we have ever done. Enjoy?
This weeks episode is ANOTHER CLASSIC!! (How DO they do it?!?) We had an actual baby on the air. 2 year old Mabelle Rose and her mother Natalie came on radio to talk about what it's like to give birth/ be born. Pooping, tearing, getting fat. Eddie also talks about Hell. Dantes concept of hell and hard boiled pulp novelist Jim Thompson's idea of hell. Also devilish arse music. Nick did a GUIDED MEDITATION ABOUT OSCAR PISTORIUS. Oh and Nick went to the dentist and it was a whole thing. Mabelle did us a drawing too!
IT WAS THE LAST SHOW OF 2013 AND WHAT A SHOW IT WAS: Alice Gage came on to chat to the crazy boys. She is editor of Ampersand Magazine. She's also one of Nicks best friends and Eddies ex gf. So, here's what happened: the topic was MAGAZINES (Alice) VS MELBOURNE (Eddie) and Nick got very emotional about pig shooting and Joanna Newsom. He tried to parent trap ex lovers Eddie and Alice into getting back together. Alice screamed that magazines are great because anyone can do it but also they are special because not everyone can do it (go figure) Nick apologised to Eddie for being a sassy grump in general and making fun of Pacific Rim specifically. Now it's official: we ALL love Pacific Rim. Eddie said he rescued a baby kookaburra so that female listeners would think he was sensitive and sleep with him. Shameless. Alice ripped her dress (WOAH!! WHUT??! STEAMING HOT GOSS) Eddie said he likes how lazy and unemployed everyone is in Melbourne. Alice concurs in fierce agreement. Good things about Melbourne: Things Of Stone and Wood. Marieke Hardy. Trams! FRENTE. The Yarra. Bicycle festivals. BATMAN! Bats in general. The Hendra virus. Nick talks about horses. And Eddie talks about Possums. Zoe Coombs Marr was in Melbourne and she saw a possum eating a Cherry Ripe. Nick says that he is caring for a crippled possum called "Blind-y McDrag" so that male listeners will think he's sensitive and sleep with him. Shameless. Nick plays Beyonce's Grown Woman for the billionth time. Also Magnetic Fields for the bazillionth time. NICK DID A GUIDED MEDITATION WHICH IS BOTH CHRISTMAS-Y AND VERY DISTURBING. Some listeners win magazines. Alice says "Will we podcast this one?" Eddie says "I dunno maybe". Then Nick thanks you for listening and says that The Crazy Boys™ appreciate it and that we also try harder than it seems … then he plays the wrong song. Lol Classic Show.
