The American democracy was designed to give the American citizens the power to choose their representatives by using their right to Vote. At the time women and people of African descent were not included so the meaning of ‘democracy was truncated but by amending the Bill of Rights to the Constitution voting became universal. The freedom to carry weapons around and murder innocent people is not in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights or in the Second Amendment. The founders thought that justice would be better served through the use of the Judicial System.       Probably the most articulate explanation of the Second Amendment and its intent was published on May 6, 1995 in the New York Times.  It is an Opinion piece by Herbert Mitgang. Mr. Mitgang is a historian, author and former member of the editorial board of The New York Times and he was a WWII Soldier Correspondent.cont. in the audio podcast . . .

Yasmin Lulu - Gazan refugee who has been aiding Gaza refugees of the refugee camp here in Jordan. She has recently appeared on the news and is a daughter of a widow who can never return back to Gaza. She wants to tell the world why she and her other friends help the Gazan refugees and how they feel about the Palestine/Israel conflict. Thesis of the latter - equal rights. It doesn't matter what the name of the country is called, as long as they can have equal rights! Yasmin Omar Lulu was born in 24th of December 1989. She is now finishing her last semester in Business Administration and English Literature at the Arab Open University in Amman, Jordan. She lives in a  family of 8 with a widowed mother. She loves writing because it helps her to swim away from the painful instances of inhumanity by finding succor in her imagination. Turn off the Media Theater that wants you feel fear and to make enemies.  People are people, the human race is one species and human nature is a designed within the species and recognizable. Translations for speeches that in fact do not demonize the United States as you have been told. Did you know they have some of the BEST universities in the world?  The largest culture difference does not have anything to do with religion. Do you know what that is?

The key to a true democracy is not about votes, not about proportional representation - it is about voters having the skills necessary to vote in their own best interests. In Greece we have fair elections. We place our voting envelope into a transparent box. We have proportional representation. . . .but we do not have the skills to vote in our own best interest.  Not having the skills to vote in one's best interest is the major problem in the United States. Elections are not fair, certain populations of voters are suppressed, voting machines can be hacked by remote control, elections are bought and paid for with hard green cash, and there is no proportional representation of government in the United States. But I argue that the major problem is the citizen's inadequate skills to vote for what is best for him or her is the major problem in the United States. Pretty surprising how many men have DNA from Ghenghis Khan! He loved the ladies even of the 'enemy', he married them, adopted their children to raise as his own and fathered more children. Talk about extrapolation to high numbers. 1 out of every 200 men show DNA from Ghengis Khan!  I'm pretty sure that most of the DNA was passed down due to raping women by his unruly and down right horrible sons. Greek car insurance company lowers annual charges due to the austerity conditions. There exists a 'solidarity tax' to pay to show solidarity with Greece not with the criminal banking industry.  The austerity plan in America causes hardship to many people.  In foreign countries it means hardship to the people but only that it is a threat to their sovereignty.
