Kate DeAraugo was crowned Australian Idol champion in 2005... but not all fairytales have happy endings and Kate’s life quickly spiralled out of control.

In 2017, Kate was convicted of drug possession, drug driving and weapons possession.

Six years later, Kate is sober, happily married and with a new baby – so she's decided to turn her difficult experiences into a podcast where she can talk about her life in the hope of giving hope and offering a safe space for other to acknowledge their own hardships.
