Hello! In case you missed the last episode, I'm leaving the You are Remarkable podcast (and coaching site) so that I can put attention towards my new site and podcast, both of which are called Grateful & Delighted. New site: https://www.gratefulanddelighted.com/popular-pages New podcast: Click here In this quick goodbye, I share a heads up of what I've been doing over there and exciting news about an upcoming episode I'm releasing on the Akashic Records. Thanks for your support & I hope to see you on the new podcast and site! -Jocellyn
This is such an exciting yet scary episode for me to share! Scary because I talk about why I'm closing down this podcast and moving away from coaching, but exciting because I share the new website, direction, and COMPLETELY NEW PODCAST I'm creating! Whew. It's been a ride & at the end of this month this podcast is coming down. But here is where you can find me now. https://www.gratefulanddelighted.com/ Signup for the new newsletter: https://tinyletter.com/jocellynharvey New podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/grateful-delighted/id1581707241
In this episode I reveal my newest (and first ever!) group experience. It's called Immerse, and in this gathering I'll be taking groups of creative women through a journey of embodying uplifting energies and concepts so that they can explore their talents while feeling amazing! But to kick off the ep., I talk about a poem I created with such ease and how that ties into Immerse. I believe this is seriously my most powerful episode, yet! Here I talk all about forgiving yourself for the things you may have done that stalled your creativity so that you can release and move forward. Because the suggestions are so valuable, I put them all together into a blog for easy access: https://www.jocellynharvey.com/blog/forgiveness-practice-creatives Ways to stay connected Free visualization for creatives: https://www.jocellynharvey.com/visualize-your-creation FB page: https://www.facebook.com/jocellyncoaches Schedule a Creative Clarity Call: https://www.jocellynharvey.com/single-coaching-session My decluttering book for sober women: www.recoveringthehome.com Contact: support@jocellynharvey.com
This week's episode is exciting, because I'm sharing 2 poems that I've worked on this year. Why? Because as a coach and guide for creative women, I want to give you insight to my personal creative work that isn't directly related to this podcast or my blog. I hope you enjoy it. More "volumes" to come. BTW - here's the blog I reference in the episode about taking care of your body as a creative; it really shines in the written form ;) Ways to stay connected Free visualization for creatives: https://www.jocellynharvey.com/visualize-your-creation Follow my FB page: https://www.facebook.com/jocellyncoaches Schedule a Creative Clarity Call: https://www.jocellynharvey.com/single-coaching-session My decluttering book for sober women: www.recoveringthehome.com Contact: support@jocellynharvey.com
In this episode I chat about the limiting belief that creatives don't have enough time to explore their talents. You might experience this yourself. It can easily lead to kicking your talents down the road until the mystical time when you have, well, more time to be creative. Hint: it that perfect stretch of time doesn't really exist! But that's okay. Get ready to learn how time will expand to make more room for your artistry and how you can be intentional about your schedule so you can start 'canoodling' with your creativity. In today's podcast I ask the big question: what do you want to create right now? Not once you've retired, or the kids have gone to school, or you think you have enough money...but right now! Because you're a powerful, creative woman with many artistic talents, and you deserve to dive into them. You know those moments in life when you just get real, stinkin' honest with yourself, stop playing games, and nix the tip-toeing around? I've been in one of those moments recently, and what has come out of that is me fully owning myself as a creative woman. And I mean FULLY. Not seeing my creativity as a convenient 'perk', but as my being and how I'm hear to serve, connect, and enjoy life! I'm know I'm not alone in that feeling. I know you are a creative woman who feels that way, too, and has putting her creativity on hold. No more. In this episode I share my creative story, talk about the types of women I'll be serving, and bring a lot of fire. Get ready for a spunky episode. Hello everyone! In today’s sobriety and recovery-focused podcast, I dive into tips for staying sober during a long weekend. Many of these were from my first sponsor, and they’re tips I continue to integrate into my life 5+ years into recovery. These are amazing if you’re in your first year or even if you’ve been sober for many years, as this 4th of July is definitely a big one with our reentry into the world. Book mentioned in podcast: Living Sober (https://www.amazon.com/Living-Sober/dp/0916856046) Okay, I lied in the episode. It is an official 12-Step book. That said, it still has a different vibe to it, so if you’ve struggled with 12-Step literature I’d encourage you to check it out. The tips so you can screenshot them. You’re welcome ;) -Remember that you don’t HAVE to go out. It’s okay to stay home, chill, and relax. Don’t let FOMO stress you out. It’s just a day. There will be other long weekends to be out and about. -Take your own transportation or make sure you have Uber money. If a friend is coming with you, make sure they’re okay if you need to leave early and can leave with you or make their own way home. -Bring your own drinks! Even if your friends say they’ll have stuff for you. And make sure the seltzers you grab at a party aren’t hard seltzers. Have a drink in hand and people won’t ask if you need anything. -Arrive early, leave when the night starts to shift, and remember that the first 15-20 minutes feels uncomfortable for most people. Hey, isn’t that why a lot of folks drink ;) -Have a recovery friend you can ‘bookend’ your night with. Aka: someone you can text before and after. -If you need a break, go into the bathroom and take 5-10 breaths. Ahhh. It’ll feel good. -Have a treat waiting for you when you get home. A tasty dessert? Takeout? A movie or TV show? Celebrate making it through a drinking-focused holiday Want to journey together? -Site: https://www.jocellynharvey.com -My decluttering book for sober women: www.recoveringthehome.com -Say hello: support@jocellynharvey.com -If you’ve enjoyed the episode, I invite you to rate, leave a review, subscribe, and share with friends!
You always hear the phrase "I need to fill up my cup" or "you cannot pour from am empty cup." I used to believe in this sentiment, but one night I received an unexpected download: your cup is always full; instead, ask yourself about the quality of your cup. Wow, okay! That blew my mind. So, I chat about it in today's episode. Hello! You might have noticed I dropped 2 episodes on the same day. What gives?! In the previous episode I share about my newest offering - Your Journey Awaits: Crafting Intentional Goals - and then I said as a gift I would share a meditation that's included in the offer! So, here it is. A few days after the launch I'll be putting just the meditation in my free resources library, and you can instantly download it there without the podcast intros. Enjoy! https://www.jocellynharvey.com/intentional-goal-setting
I'm so excited to announce that my newest offer, Your Journey Awaits: Crafting Intentional Goals, is now live on my site! This amazing $33 offering is packed with information for how to set goals from a place of tapping into your feelings, taking authentic action, tuning your mindset, welcoming in celebration, and more. In this episode I go into how much fun I had creating this, and how much fun I believe you'll have setting goals from a place of excitement and joy. https://www.jocellynharvey.com/intentional-goal-setting
Summer has officially arrived, and you know what I hope it brings you? Fun! Silly fun. Giddy fun. Laid back fun. Movement fun. Childlike fun. So, in today's episode I share why having fun is an important part of the process, as well as why you get to have fun just because. And because you know I love being honest, I chat about a have-fun-in-life-and-business trend that I find a bit unsettling and how you can avoid that trap! Want to journey together? No, this episode isn't me taking a vow to never swear again. I'm still a believer in what Spongebob famously called "sentence enhancers". Instead, in this episode I talk about the words and phrases I've removed from my vocabulary. These are phrases that can keep me stuck, feeling less than grateful, and not uplifted. Perhaps you'll feel the same about some (or all) of the phrases, and even think of ones you tend to say that you'd rather remove! As always, this isn't about being perfect, so I share you how can catch yourself in real-time, without the drama, and move forward with empowered language. Want to journey together? Hi everyone! Wow, I'm coming out of podcast retirement after only 2 months. While I initially closed my podcast, fully thinking I'd never return, a few shifts happened in my life that inspired me to get back in the game. Which, of course, I go over in the episode. That includes gushing about connecting with Cassandra from The Rooted podcast (formerly The Calm Collective) and how our 1:1 session helped me come back to the mic. (https://www.thecalmcollective.com/) I'll also catch you up on the exciting happenings in my life, such as getting married, moving to Buffalo, and the refreshing realizations I've had in my business. Anyway, it's good to be back. I have no regrets that I stepped away. But it's good to return with more openness, freedom, and fewer expectations! Want to journey together? UPDATE: I actually decided to come back from podcast retirement after 2 months! Very unexpected. I talk about it in episode #49, so visit that episode. But I'm still keeping this up because the energy of the message and discussion on uncertainty is still great. In this episode I talk about why I’m ending the You Are Remarkable podcast and where you can still find me on the internet! That's right, I'll still be sharing my weekly blogs and newsletter, as well as being open for 1:1 coaching. In the episode I cover -Why it’s okay to not have 100% certainty when stepping away (and what having 100% certainty in my life has looked like before I let go of something. Hint: it wasn’t pretty) -Why letting go of this podcast is me fully trusting my writing - which is my true passion -I invite you to see in life where you are holding onto things -Whether or not I’ll be taking down the podcast (I say I’m 97% sure, but it’s still up in the air!) Coaching is all about positive, forward thinking and upbeat energy, right? Mostly! But it doesn’t mean coaches should shy away from life's various realities when working with their clients, and I certainly don’t. That is why recognizing and naming your dislikes is an important part of the goal-setting process. In this week’s episode I share what can happen when you force yourself to do things you dislike, as well as provide journal prompts to help you along the way. So get ready to call out the things you don’t like or enjoy! Exciting news! Starting in April of this year I’m opening up my books for 1:1 Success and Life Coaching with women. There’s links below for my Coaching 101 page where I demystify the coaching experience and a 1:1 page where I talk about my current coaching offering, but in the episode I keep it simple and touch on one aspect of the coaching journey that I want more people to know: it’s that coaching is actually a gentle experience. So often people are very hard on themselves when they do self-guided work, and then they think working with someone 1:1 is going to be an even more intense version of that. Instead, I’m here to share how coaching with me is all about encouragement, uplifting energy, and being kind to yourself. And even if you aren’t ready to take the 1:1 coaching step, you can still bring those gentle, compassionate vibes into the self-guided work you do! In today’s episode I share how decluttering key areas of your life can help you achieve your goals by clearing away the distractions, the overwhelm, and the mess (even if it’s not a tangible mess!) I talk about the benefits of decluttering your computer, calendar, finances, and decluttering your personal development! For a personal story, I share the amazing “deep sigh” I felt when I decluttered my old journals from courses, webinars, and inner healing work. On the Episode: For this week’s episode I’m delighted to have on Saskia Marjoram of Saskia’s Flower Essences. I first purchased one of her essences in 2019 and it sparked the inspiration for writing my book Recovering the Home! So yes, I’ve been a fan of Saskia’s for quite some time. In the episode she shares her 18-year’s worth of experience creating flower essences, how they can support you during your healing and development, and what you can find in her shop. She also shares some of her favorite flower essences and how they can help you feel supported, grounded, and fabulous -- all things women can benefit from!
