30-minute weekly radio program for November 30, 2010. The poor, the working class, and at last (surprise!) the middle class have all been shafted by the "liberal" mainstream institutions that once--at least to an extent--looked out for their interests. CHRIS HEDGES identifies a half-dozen such institutions that have by now said, "If you can't beat 'em [the plutocrats], serve 'em!" To Hedges, the worst offenders are the liberal Christian Church, the media, and--worst of all--the Democratic Party.
This program focuses on the Democratic Party.
We'll hear parts of a fine talk by Hedges and some ruminations by me, and we'll read aloud a nice essay by Philadelphia journalist DAVE LINDORFF. Lindorff focuses on the perfidy of the Obama administration in particular. Continuity we can believe in!
Other audio included: the "I'm as mad as hell" rant by "Howard Beale" (from the movie "Network") & 2 songs by Fred Eaglesmith.
Chris Hedges spoke on "The Death of the Liberal Class" at the Sanctuary for Independent Media, Troy, NY, October 15, 2010. Our audio of Hedges is taken from the video released by Sanctuary TV (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYCvSntOI5s).

Mohamed Osman Mohamud's parents knew their son was trouble, that's why they alerted authorities which lead to an FBI sting that caught Mohamud in the act. The Muslims of Portland immediately condemned this man as well, they had their burn mosque burnt down in response. Muslims were instrumental in stopping this attack yet still get demonized. So how did the fair and balanced FOX News cover these patriotic Muslim Americans? They didn't. FOX would rather foment racism than cover news.

30-minute weekly radio program for November 2, 2010.
The people of the Third World are kept poor--by institutions of the "global North"--so that our very rich may become still richer. British journalist JOHANN HARI argues this case, using the recent history of Haiti as example. In a talk from the early 1990s, MICHAEL PARENTI concurs, offering examples from Haiti and several other countries.
I suggest that the Powers That Be are pushing the U.S.A in the same direction as Haiti. Comedians BOB AND RAY offer a comic look at an American business that has adopted an economic model like the Haitian one: The Great Lakes Paper Clip Company. (The sketch probably sounded funnier in 1960 than it does today.)

In this exclusive interview for Prison Planet.tv subscribers, author Webster Tarpley goes into detail on a whole host of historical, financial and geopolitical issues in a bid to outline the major crises, revolutions and wars that will hit the globe over the next decade and shape the future of our world.
Tarpley begins by discussing how the Neo-Malthusian ecological extremists in the Obama regime have a shared hatred for science, technology and industry and how they really are contemplating and initiating genocidal measures to thin the human surplus because of their deep-seated ideological impulse, shared by oligarchies throughout the ages, which is to suppress the progress and development of any societal underclass.
