Rachel Ford knows that people are the secret ingredient to making magic. Her popular adult summer camp, Camp Souldust, is home to all sorts of workshops (and playshops!) focused on bringing the sparkly gifts of her community to the surface so everyone can grow, heal, learn, and tune all the way in. Magical, indeed!
Having taught several playshops at Camp Souldust, we know firsthand just how amazing this place is. So we wanted to ask Rachel–– how did she bring such a transformative experience to life? What does it take to manifest all that we wish to see in the world… IN the world?
Rachel has a decades-long background in the corporate world, but she’s always been an artist, first and foremost. In recent years, she returned to her roots by creating Souldust, a brand celebrating exploration of all the things that make us so fabulously human. From travel retreats to creative workshops to tiny, quiet moments of self-discovery, Souldust gives people a space to do whatever it is their soul needs. As Pablo Picasso said, “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.”
In this episode, you’ll hear about…
Rachel’s path from software to soulwork
Camp Souldust: what and who it includes
How anything can be sacred
Why boundaries are a good thing
How play can transform lives

Is it ever appropriate to join ceremonies that don’t belong to us? Pegi Eyers argues that there’s a difference between being invited, and inviting ourselves. This is an important one for those of us in the spiritual community, particularly white practitioners and healers. And this isn’t a call-out; it’s a calling-in.
This episode is all about inviting our fellow white people to the table to take an honest look at the ways we show up in the world–– and the ways we need to do better. Our guest, Pegi Eyers, shares insights into what white supremacy looks like, how to combat it, and practices to put into your everyday life to get grounded and more connected to humanity as a whole.
Pegi Eyers is the author of Ancient Spirit Rising: Reclaiming Your Roots & Restoring Earth Community, a book that received a 2017 Next Generation Indie Book Award in the Current Events/Social Change category. Her work focuses on challenging worldview that prevent social evolution, and providing healing practices so that we may move forward toward true equality.Read more at The Wild Life
Georgia Woodbine totally embodies her title as a change agent. Dynamic, relatable, and wise, she’s a motivator, speaker, and author who’s traveled far and wide sharing her secrets to manifesting the life you want. (Spoiler alert: the power of intention is real!)
She’s the author of several books including Total B.S (Body & Soul), How to Attract the Right Man into Your Life, How to Make Big Bucks Without Selling Your Soul, Jewels of Inspiration and Reflections, How to Choose Your Career Path, and the workbook How to Write the Book Inside You. Georgia has taken her wisdom on the road, guest speaking at places like Rutgers University, Columbia University, The Learning Annex, Time Warner Cable, and more.
Everyday life can overwhelm and cause us to tune out, to ignore the red flags, to simply hit cruise control and keep on keepin’ on. In this episode, we’ll talk with Georgia about how to get in the driver’s seat and create the life we truly desire, not just the one that’s happened to us.

Lola Pickett

Few men have the courage to explore, explode and examine our culture’s programming around masculinity, fatherhood and manhood. Even fewer men dare to share their vulnerable explorations publicly. But it’s men like Mark Greene, our guest on today’s show, that are lifting the veil on how we interpret masculinity in our culture and offering ways to craft a new, mutually beneficial paradigm that allows for the nuances of human experience.
Mark has so much to share. In this episode we only scratch the surface of insights and perspectives he’s shaped as Executive Editor for The Good Men Project. If you’d like to dive deeper into Mark’s writing, pick up his book, Remaking Manhood, but, for now, enjoy our conversation.

Notable Nuggets
1 in 3 Americans, age 45+ are chronically lonely; Source: AARP, 2010
Male identity in America has been destroyed by a combination of surface level male relationships and economic boom/bust cycles.
Honor the relational space between humans. Treat and care for it as a separate entity. Leave space for the other, especially children, to fill in their own relational space with their own ideas.
Seek out uncertainty as it leads to idea generation and creativity. Avoid immediately labeling things, again, esp. for children, so that creativity can flourish and new interpretations can sprout. Avoid ‘isms, ideals, attitudes towards things, people, objects that preclude creativity. A very Waldorf/Steiner concept as well.
