In episode 118 Sam is joined by artist and illustrator Murugiah.  Murugiah has chosen Jodorowsky's Dune (90 mins). Directed by Frank Pavich, the 2013 documentary follows Alejandro Jodorowsky's attempt to make a film adaptation of Frank Herbert's classic sci-fi novel Dune.  Sam and Murugiah discuss how Jodorowsky gathered his 'spiritual warriors' to work on the project, how not making the movie became a huge influence on sci-fi cinema - from Ridley Scott's Alien to much much more - and how seeing Jodorowsky's El Topo changed Murugiah's life.  Thank you for downloading.
