Sam Clements is curating a fictional film festival. He'll accept almost anything, but the movie must not be longer than 90 minutes. This is the 90 Minutes Or Less Film Fest podcast.

In episode 124 Sam is joined by filmmaker Jeff Nichols. 

Jeff's new movie The Bikeriders, starring Jodie Comer, Austin Butler, and Tom Hardy, is in UK cinemas from 21 June. 

Jeff has chosen The Outsiders (90 mins). Directed by Francis Ford Coppola and released in 1983, the film stars C. Thomas Howell, Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Emilio Estevez, Diane Lane, and Tom Cruise. 

Sam and Jeff discuss how The Outsiders is such a big influence on The Bikeriders, the amazing cast of young stars, and a serendipitous meeting with Emilio Estevez.
