Tropical Storm Humberto to Bring Some Impacts to the Southeast U.S. into Early Next Week; 4 Additional Storms in the tropics, Flash Flooding Possible in Desert Southwest and Upper Midwest.Tropical Storm Humberto is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane Sunday night off the Southeast Coast. Heavy rain, rough surf and a potential for rip currents is forecast along the Southeast Coast from Florida to South Carolina into early next week. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds, large hail, isolated tornadoes and the threat for heavy rainfall and flash flooding.
