The days of beginning and ending your career with one company are over. According to today's guest, we've entered the era of job-hopping and the great reevaluation. Evan Sohn is the chairman and CEO of Recruiter.com, a company that helps organizations of all sizes find the employees they need. Evan says getting people to work in 2022 is more nuanced than "Who wants a job? Here's a job. Go!" Companies need to start thinking like workers. If they're open to working from everywhere, hiring managers need to be open to hiring their next great worker from everywhere. Evan says because of the great reset (or as he calls it, the great reevaluation) every worker in this economy is more valuable than they were three years ago. He adds today's worker isn't all about salary and a cool office to go to either. If you want to hear an enlightening conversation about the current job market, this is the episode for you. From center stage to the bowels of the sewers (and other places), Mike Rowe has done it all. You may know him from his flagship show “Dirty Jobs,” now airing Sunday nights at 8 PM ET on Discovery Channel and Discovery+, but you might be surprised where he got his start. While Mike has done hundreds of dirty jobs there are some jobs he won't do, and the reason why might surprise you. Mike also talked about the appeal of the show for viewers of all ages. In this newest season, Mike visits the Crazy Horse Memorial in Jeffrey's home state of South Dakota and came back impressed in more ways than one. Since this is All Business, Mike and Jeffrey talk about the business side of the show and how it's promoting and inspiring the next generation of blue-collar workers. Diversity and inclusion need to be more than just buzzwords, your company needs to live those values. How do you do it? James D. White has some ideas. He is the former Chair, President, and CEO of Jamba Juice. His latest book, "Anti-Racist Leadership: How to Transform Culture in a Race-Conscious World" explores how companies of all sizes can be more diverse. James co-authored the book with his daughter Krista. He said working with somebody from a different generation really opened his eyes to what younger people want to see in the workplace and how expanding your network can help you bring about a workplace people want to be a part of. This episode was hosted by Tricia Benn, Chief Community Officer of the C-Suite Network and recorded during a recent C-Suite Network Digital Discussion. Like what you heard? A small, tasty change can make a huge difference in your health. It's not only a mantra for today's guest -- Brittany Fuisz used it as the foundation of her business, Malibu Mylk. Brittany wanted to get pregnant and wasn't having any luck. After her doctor recommended an elimination diet, she began researching the ingredients of popular milk alternatives. Not only did she find out they weren't healthy but discovered the damage nut and oat milks were doing to the environment. Brittany leaned on her culinary degree and got to work. Her research led her to flax seed. During the conversation, Brittany told Jeffrey how the company started, why flax, and how pivoting during the pandemic inspired a new product line. Brittany calls Malibu Mylk's new drinks "the number one way to go number two." If you're intrigued, listen to this episode of "All Business with Jeffrey Hayzlett." Note: We're starting 2022 with one of our most thought-provoking episodes of 2021. Look for a special new episode in this feed Friday. Thanks for listening. Andrew Zimmern almost needs no introduction. He’s been a staple on TV for years, eating bizarre foods around the world, highlighting the commonality of food across cultures. Now, he has a new show on the Magnolia Network, called “Family Dinner" that just got picked up for a second season. While the interview started with TV talk, it quickly turned to dinner, mainly what the pandemic is doing to the restaurant business, what its future might look like, and how hard it is for restaurateurs to get stimulus money. Andrew also opens up about his sobriety and why he’s such a deep thinker. His episode was one of most-listened-to of 2020 and he didn’t disappoint this time around either.
