As one of the five pillars of Islam, zakat is mandatory giving; all Muslims eligible to pay it must donate at least 2.5% of their accumulated wealth for the benefit of the poor, destitute and others – classified as mustahik. The Qur’an categorically prohibits riba, but does not define it. It is commonly argued that riba is defined by hadith. At the time of the revelation about riba, the only type of riba known was riba al-jahiliyyah. If only that type is considered, usury or usurious/exploitative transactions would be prohibited. Later, the scope of the definition of riba was broadened based on hadith as textual proof, leading to the traditional position that all forms of interest are prohibited. In this paper it is explored whether the commonly-cited hadiths to define riba hold up as claimed. Based on the analysis presented here, while the Qur’anic prohibition can be easily understood in the case of riba al-jahiliyyah, and the rationale for it is obvious, as the readers would find, it is indeed a daunting task to use hadiths to define riba and justify the broadened scope in terms of the riba-interest equation.

வாழ்வில், பொருளாதாரத்தில், நீங்கள் கனவு காணும் சாதனைகளை, குறிப்பாக மறு உலக வெற்றிக்கு சுறுசுறுப்பு, கடின உழைப்பு, தைரியம், மகிழ்ச்சி, தயாள குணம், அபரிதமான வளம், சுதந்திரமாக செயல் புரிதல் அவசியம். உங்கள் குறிக்கோள்களை அடைய மார்க்கம் கூறும் சில டிப்ஸ்களை கேளுங்கள், பரப்புங்கள், subscribe செய்யுங்கள்.

துயரங்கள், வறுமை, கஷ்ட காலங்களில் உதவி செய்யும் அதே உறவினர்களில் சிலர் ஒருவர் செல்வத்தால், பதவியால், அந்தஸ்துக்களால் உயரும்போது பொறாமை, காழ்ப்புணர்ச்சி போன்ற ஷைத்தான் தூண்டும் எண்ணங்களால், துரோகம், பொல்லாங்கு, மற்ற தீங்குகள் இழைக்கும்போது, அவர்களை மன்னிப்பதா, தண்டிப்பதா, மார்க்கம் கூறும் சில முலம் நம்மை எப்படி பாதுகாத்து கொள்வது, போன்ற சில டிப்ஸ்களை கேளுங்கள், பரப்புங்கள், subscribe செய்யுங்கள்.

காரியங்கள், செயல்கள், கடின உழைப்பு, அரும் பெரும் முயற்சிகள், சிகரத்தை நோக்கி செல்லல், சாதனைகள், அனைத்தும் வெற்றியில் முடிய. அல்லாஹ்வின் திருப்தி நாடி செய்தல் , எண்ணங்களில் தூய்மை, சேவை நோக்கம், மறுமையின் பலனை எதிர்பார்த்து செயல்கள் செய்தல், மறுமையின் தண்டனையை நினைத்து தீய காரியங்களில் இருந்து விலகுதல் அவசியம்! இதைத்தான் அல்லாஹ் சொல்கிறான், “நிச்சயமாக செயல்களின் (முடிவுகள்) அனைத்தும், எண்ணத்தை கொண்டே அமைகின்றன” கேளுங்கள், subscribe, Share செய்யுங்கள், இதுவும் ஒரு நல்ல செயலே!
