Description

An exploration into 3 of the most transformational relationships we can choose to have: With ourselves, our partners, and our children.

I'm Lucy, and I believe most relationship issues are not from lack of knowledge or trying, but from lack of models for what REAL, healthy relationships actually look and feel like: the good, bad, and the ugly.

I'm here to share real stories from real people who illuminate what genuine & meaningful relationships look like in a space where Love and Learning converge.

Today's episode is for new parents and parents-to-be. I share 5 things I wish everyone knew about new parenting, especially during the rollercoaster newborn phase. (CORRECTION in the episode: I meant to say I cook "1-2 times per WEEK," not per day.) Covering: 1. Best way to consume/evaluate parenting advice. Get out of Checkbox Thinking. 2. What causes 80% of all our problems. 3. The myth of parental intuition and what it really is instead. 4. What to do instead of 50-50 with your co-parent. 5. What's Parental Amnesia & how it impacts self-confidence (but it doesn't have to). All opinions are, of course, my own! If you disagree, cool, remember Point #1. 📕 Resources mentioned: • And Baby Makes Three | https://amzn.to/3U0LmLD ❤️ Support this show | https://anchor.fm/meet-yourself/support 🤝 Work with me: https://www.lucyliang.com/work-with-me/
