He who fails to plan, plans to fail. Ask any planner - when plans go awry or when the expected happens - how is handed could make or ruin the event.
While planning or projecting some desired outcomes for the different aspects of your life such as your career, health, family  etc. is often encouraged, it is important to note that detours happen.
The way you navigate through  detours could determine if, how and when you arrive at your desired destination.
A detour could catch you off guard and instances attempt to  knock the socks off your feet. However, nothing catches God by surprise. In fact, He knows all things even before they occur. In moments when it seems like life is uncertain, that is one of the best times to lean in closer, shut out the noise, and allow Him to carry You.
To let go of control is a sign that you trust the one you relinquish it to. To trust a person means you should have some inkling that they can handle what you entrust to them. Imagine entrusting your life and its detours to the one who has an indisputable track record of NEVER FAILING....
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? Matthew 6:30
Enter with the password: “Thank you!”Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him - Psalms 100:4 (MSG). "Thank You" are two simple words but can make a whole lot of difference when we incorporate them in our daily habits . An attitude of gratitude is one that has impacts on both the giver and the receiver. When we show our gratitude, it shifts our focus to begin to think and reflect on the positive things. The more we focus on a thing, the more it grows.
Research suggests that gratitude journaling is associated with improvements in  overall health - physical, emotional, social health etc.  As you listen to today's podcast, I encourage to spend a few minutes just being grateful. If you do not know where to begin, start with being thankful for being alive.
Enjoy!
Living in Intimacy - - A posture that places "being with God" over "doing for God"- when we put relationship over service. When we live life for an Audience of One.
Psalms 27:4 “One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.” King James Version (KJV).
In a world where we are bombarded by different things vying for our attention - some glaring and others subtle, we should choose to live from intimacy with God. This is a place of rest, recharge, and restoration.
