Wayne's imagination, mixed with the loss of a safe haven in his neighborhood and the lack of that moving music of the 1970's, along with the curse of addiction upon himself and within his community, pushed him to be creative. I stayed in that one spot for at least an hour, thinking, I just died and came back to life, wow! My eyes were bloodshot red, and I had a headache out of this world. I could feel the water inside my brain when I shook my head. If it wasn't water inside my brain, it sure felt like it. Grandma always gave it real when it came to life. She always said you make your bed, you lay in it. This took some time before I understood what that meant but Lord Behold... that would change!

Parents are to teach their kids to love instead of hate others. As a parent, we are responsible for teaching our children that love is unconditional regardless of the color of one's skin or nationality. Through the Eyes of a Child, a child sees no difference in the child they sit next to on the bus, in their classroom, or that child they play with on the playground. Instead, a child sees another child as themselves. Love is a strong affection for another arising out of kinship, personal ties, or maternal love for a child. It has always baffled me how someone can carry a child for nine months inside the womb and one day decide to abandon that child. It baffles me how a father can bring a child into this world and leave it as if it never existed. How a father can love his mother but not love his children. How can a father say "I love you" to others that they're romantically attached to but have never told their child that they love them?
