Dr. Denning's Clinic: https://www.restorativespineandpain.org Dr. Denning is originally from Chicago, Illinois. He attended Purdue University where he received his Bachelors degree in Biomechanics. He then attended Sherman College in South Carolina where he received his doctorate in 2000. He has been practicing in the field of rehabilitative and physical medicine for over 23 years, caring for patients from world class athletes to weekend warriors. Dr. Denning received his fellowship in manipulation under anesthesia and has been a leader in the growth and practice of this amazing procedure. He has served as Chief of Staff of Chiropractic in a large hospital group, and is a welcome addition to our staff. Sports have been a major part of Dr. Dennings career and lifestyle. He served 5 years as the team chiropractor for the Flint Firebirds of the OHL treating talented players, many of which are in the NHL today. Dr. Denning is currently involved in research of regenerative medicine therapies and the benefits to our patients. Dr. Denning is married, and has four boys. Mindfulness is moment-to-moment non-judgmental awareness and aims to widen the gap between perception and reaction. We explore the seven attitudes of mindfulness, including beginner's mind, non-judging, acceptance, letting go, trust, patience, gratitude, and generosity. We also cover importance of paying attention to the present moment and using intentional breathing to start a transformative process. Mindfulness has shown to benefit many medical problems including anxiety, depression, ptsd, weight gain, diabetes, and even the big one: cardiovascular disease.
