Level 2- To see the Veiling Power in action. The Online Samosa 00:00 A Self Awareness. Ignorant about ourselves. We need emotions and need awareness. Emotions impacts everyone and is all around us. We live in the sea of emotions. When we start to watch emotions in other people, you get to see that sometimes people do not see the reality. As we work with these kind of people, we learn how to manage our emotions. 04:45 B In sanskrit it is called "Aavaran Shakti" and the people who are engulfed in this is "Aavara Shakta." We need help to get past our own emotional hijack. Emotional hijack is always in line with our Ego. One must be driven with some high values in order to get past this hijack. 06:09 C * We need more knowledge and awareness of how the emotional engine works. * We need to know how does it engulf and hijack us. * To get past that: One must have some rules when the emotions engulf. Some questions we must ask. 8:08 D Why are the emotions different in myself and other people? * Emotions have color spectrums. * They come from the deep driving desires of our lives. * Deep driving desires are a source of the hijack. * Some are DNA based, some are survival based, some are adopted. 9:50 E Yamini's input and experience Listen to our Show at Youtube: Spotify - https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/sh... / @theonlinesamosa Follow us on Social Media here - Twitter - https://twitter.com/online_samosaInst... - https://instagram.com/theonlinesamosa... - https://www.reddit.com/user/TheOnline... 0:00-- What are the Levels of Enlightenment? We gain Self awareness and Self knowledge in levels. The path to greater happiness. Level 1– Ignorance (of detached self); Level 2– To see the Veiling power in action; Level 3– Projection Power of the mind; Level 4– Indirect Knowledge of Enlightenment; Level 5– Direct Knowledge; Level 6– The Cessation of Grief; Level 7– ENLIGHTENMENT was always there everywhere. PERMANENT HAPPINESS is was and will be. The Universe is and was happy. 3:30--- Level 1: Ignorance. a. We are born ignorant with Ego. b. Mind says things I like more of what I like and dislike which I do not like. 6:20------ c. One starts to learn that I have to tit for tat as a survival technique. It is a form of pre adolescent learning. Concept of forgiveness is not available to the person. d. One does not understand respect or self respect. 10:00----- e. Emotion management is not available to a person at this level. A person understands only selfish transactional. Blaming others comes easy to a person at this level.
What is Enlightenment, Nirvana, Moksha, Mukti in simple terms. Moksha is freedom from ignorance: self-realization, self-actualization and self-knowledge. The Online Samosa 00:00 A What is Enlightenment? The terms which needs to be understood are--- 1. We live in a reality that is like an ocean, not a pool, it is a little cloudy with limited visibility. 2. We have consciousness. We are conscious that we are conscious with some exceptions: - A. When we are in deep sleep we are not conscious of our consciousness'. - B. When an anesthesiologist puts us down we are also not conscious that we are conscious. 3. Our experience is limited by our limited knowledge. Your experience is the sum total of all the above experiences (limited as they may be). More knowledge changes our experience to be richer. There are four universes: i. Physical , ii. Emotional, iii. Relationship, iv. the Ego related universe. Our "Self Definition" creates a drive and a filter of what we (can) perceive. Our knowing of this milky ocean is limited by our knowledge and is the combination of all these realities, helps us evolve. 08:54 B Someone with a higher emotional knowledge can be a manipulator of other people's emotions and/or has better knowledge of how to handle emotions. Knowledge reduces the anxiety in our lives. The root cause of worrying is ignorance. 10:35 C When there is clarity in the above four universes, then that state is called ENLIGHTENMENT. This clarity is needed for total self awareness. 12:39 D Sat Chit Anand-- "Sat": Reality of existence; "Chit": Reality of Consciousness and "Anand": Unending Pure Bliss. The Online Samosa 00:00 A We think that addiction to anger is to serve us. There is a little cost but we justify that it is okay. Anger or any major decisions we make is based on reality. There are 3 major roots/ drivers of Addiction---1. Child sees life as a series of events which gives them joy. 2. As the kids grow they understand what is a different kind of joy. 3. Children understand that power and money can bring joy. Delayed gratification is learnt and then they stand by their values. 12:04 B Addiction happens when there is a promise of joy. One loss is compensated by another joy. Kid learns that joy is more important than a reality. Anger destroys memory. 18:44 C We become addicted to anger by escapism. We must practice Delayed Gratification with awareness. Unless we become curious no respect is earned. 29:27 D Delayed Gratification is learnt and is gratifying to the kids. One has to be curious by learning delayed gratification. Escapism is not fulfilling. The shortest of the cuts is addiction. No anger is justified no matter what. 39:58 E How to solve Addiction? 1. Be curious; 2. Ask questions with no inferiority complex.Hope is valuable. We teach our kids that if they are not good in some subject, they should accept it. But the best thing to do is to reach out to someone who can help in solving the issue. Yamini's input and experience.
