This week's episode is all about resilience. When tough things happen, do you try to plow through and stay focused, or do you feel the disappointment, then move forward? For me, the former only works for so long, so I'm sharing with you, what to do if you're really just sick of plowing through (or can't physically do it anymore). It's time to honor the feelings and come out stronger, and more resilient than ever!Link to show notesBook your free Q&A session/Learn more about group & 1:1 coachingSupport the show (https://www.liztraines.com/the-podcast)
In honor of the upcoming IWD, I had to do an episode for my ladies, specifically about reinvention. Might be interesting for the men to hear too though - much of it is applicable to you, or maybe the women in your lives :). This episode is for you if you've been thinking about making a change, but aren't sure the grass will be greener somewhere else. I'll share different types of reinventing you can do, some of them, without leaving your job, and then the different challenges you can prepare for when going down each of the paths, so that you make the move with confidence and ultimately, achieve the success you desire!Link to show notesForbes article referenced Book your free Q&A session/Learn more about coachingSupport the show (https://www.liztraines.com/the-podcast)

This episode is about illustrating why it can be so difficult for us to say "no," especially after a lifetime of saying yes when we didn't really mean it. Liz will explain what this journey was like for her, how she conquered the negative voice in her head and why gender and cultural norms play such a large factor in this process too. If she can do this, so can you.Find the full show notes here: https://www.liztraines.com/blog/saying-noSupport the show (https://www.liztraines.com/the-podcast)
Do these thoughts, or anything like it, ever go through your head? Am I getting this role, promotion, opportunity, etc… because I’m relatively young, energetic, and people like my personality or the way I look?Am I getting it because I’ve got a strong relationship with my boss and she’s doing me a favor?Maybe it’s more the flavor of, am I getting this role because leadership needs more “insert minority here” to hit the diversity and inclusion quotas?Or is it because I’m smart, motivated, and the best person to do this work!? This episode is all about gaining confidence, and quieting the imposter in your head.
