Michael Forney drives the development of the cohort-based training programs for Gravitational Leadership - training church planters and pastors and is the co-author of Gravity: Seven Essential Truths About Influence, Leadership and Your Soul. He has served on church planting teams, as a lead pastor of a turnaround church, and in staff roles serving in churches of under 21 to over 2500 in average weekly attendance in rural, urban, and suburban settings. Michael brings experience and an insightful perspective to pastors and churches that moves them forward towards health, mission, and growth. Michael also serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Leadership & Multiplication for the Southern Michigan Conference of the Free Methodist Church. He is an ordained Free Methodist Elder; a certified coach with the Turnaround Church Coaching Network; and a certified Spiritual Leadership Traits Assessment Coach. He has been married to Nancy for 30+ years and has 4 daughters and 2 grandkids.
