And even though the name of her single “Complicated” may describe her process of recording the album and her relationship with the music business in general? The love her fans have been showing her new album “See Me” is simple and plain for all to see.

But putting together a project during a lockdown did more than just rekindle her love for the music. The silence and stillness also turned her fire for justice and equality on high. But how does a single mother of two black children handle the world, the mic and everything in between?
