המלך הוא החיות של כל המדינה, ולכן שלימות המלוכה הוא כאשר מקבלים את המלכות ברצון, "תמליכוני עליכם", שהזמן לזה הוא ר"ה. ומכיון אשר ח"י אלול הוא הרי ההשלמה של חודש תשרי ור"ה של שנה שעברה וחודש ההכנה לר"ה הבעל"ט, ואנו גם נמצאים בתקופה בלתי רגילה וכו' – יש לעורר ע"ד ההשתדלות להכין את ה"מדינה", כל העולם כולו, שיהי' "ומלכותו ברצון קיבלו עליהם". וזה מתחיל מילדים הקטנים, "הבל שאין בו חטא", וכמדובר בארוכה גודל ההכרח לעשות מעל הכחות שכל ילד יהודי יקבל בפועל חינוך עפ"י התורה, ויש לנצל את הימים מח"י אלול עד ראש השנה שלא יהי' ילד יהודי א' שלא ידברו עם הוריו וכד' שיקבל חינוך הכשר. ובפשטות: הנקודה, המטרה והתכלית של כל ההתוועדות היא – לזעזע את כל הנמצאים כאן והשומעים את הדברים ללכת לחפש אולי יש עוד ילד/ה שעדיין לא הולך/ת למוסד חינוך עפ"י תורה ולתקן את הדבר.

משיחת ח"י אלול ה'תשל"ה

Because the king is the life of the entire country, true kingship exists only when “the people willingly accept His kingship over them” – “You shall crown Me over you,” which occurs on Rosh Hashanah. Being that Chai Elul is the time to make up for the month of Tishrei and Rosh Hashanah of the previous year, and Elul in general is the month of preparation for the coming Rosh Hashana, and being that we find ourselves in unusual times etc. – effort must be made to prepare the “country,” i.e., the entire world, to “willingly accept His kingship over them.” And it starts with the young children, “breath that is devoid of sin.” Therefore it is crucial to do everything in our power to ensure that every Jewish child receives a Jewish education according to the Torah, and the remaining days and hours from Chai Elul until Rosh Hashana should be used for this purpose. To put it in simple terms: The whole point, goal, and purpose of this entire farbrengen is to give a shake to everyone listening to go out and find every Jewish child and ensure that not one child remains whose parents aren’t spoken to about providing the child with a Jewish education, and if a child doesn’t yet receive a Jewish education, that should be fixed.
