במשכן היו ב' ענינים כלליים [כמ"ש בפ' תרומה]: א) יריעות וקרשים שהקיפו את כל חלקי המשכן בשווה בלי חילוקים. ב) הכלים השונים שהיו בתוך המשכן שלכל אחד מהם הי' תפקיד מיוחד כמו הארון ללוחות והמנורה להאיר וכו'. ועד"ז הוא גם במשכן הפרטי שבכ"א ("ושכנתי בתוכם . . בתוך כאו"א מישראל"): א) ענין התפלה שאז עומד האדם בביטול כעבדא קמי' מרי', והביטול הוא בכל אבריו בשווה, ועד"ז ענין התורה ‏–‏ "חומה זו תורה" ‏–‏ לא משנה איזה חלק בתורה הוא לומד ה"ז אותה תורה ויש לברך ע"ז ברכת התורה. ב) מעשה המצוות ‏–‏ רמ"ח מ"ע ושס"ה מל"ת כנגד רמ"ח איברים ושס"ה גידים.

In the Mishkan there were two general aspects [as described in Parashas Terumah]: (1) The curtains and beams, which encompassed all parts of the Mishkan equally and without distinction. (2) The various vessels inside the Mishkan, each with its unique function, such as the Aron for the Luchos, the Menorah for illumination, etc. Similarly, this applies to the personal Mishkan within every Jew (“‘I will dwell among them’ – within every single Jew”): (1) Tefillah, where a person stands nullified as a servant before his master, and where this nullification applies equally to all his limbs; similarly, in Torah (“‘Wall’ – this refers to Torah”) no matter what part of Torah one learns, it’s the same mitzvah of Torah study with the same brachah. 2) The practical Mitzvos, divided into 248 positive mitzvos and 365 negative mitzvos to the 248 limbs and 365 sinews.
