重复是开启记忆的关键。

I restarted learning English at 35.

我 35 岁时重新开始学英语。

The first time I listened to BBC News, I was totally lost.

第一次听 BBC 新闻时，我完全摸不着头脑。

But I played the same audio 50 times.

但我把同一则音频反复听了 50 遍。

At the 30th time, I still miss the point.

听到第 30 遍时，我还是没抓住重点。

But by the 50th time, I could actually repeat it.

可到了第 50 遍，我居然能跟着复述了。 

The magic of repetition is this, it turns strange into familiar.

重复的魔力就在于此：它能把陌生变为熟悉。

And I don't get it into I understand it automatically.

还能把 “我听不懂” 变成 “我自然而然就懂了”。

The more you listen, the faster your brain catches the rhythm and sound patterns.

你听得越多，大脑捕捉语音节奏和发音规律的速度就越快。

Remember, being great at listening is not about understanding it once.

记住，擅长听力并非 “能听懂一次就够了”。

It's about being the one who survives listening 50 times without giving up.

而是要成为那个 “坚持听够 50 遍、绝不放弃” 的人。
