Chloe: Nelson, have you seen this article about Halloween? It’s very surprising.

Chloe: It all began with Alicia Plumer and her 21-year-old son. He loves Halloween, but he is autistic and has difficulties with social interactions. Alicia realized that some people might not understand his situation, so she came up with the idea of a blue Halloween bucket.

For me, after reading this, I feel deeply touched by how thoughtful the mother was.

But I also saw different opinions online. Some people feel that maybe those with special needs don’t want to “stand out” or draw attention to themselves by carrying a blue bucket.

They feel that the idea might not be as considerate as it seems.
