'No doubt' environmental law reforms will pass this week, Watt says

The government is trying to win support from either the Coalition or the Greens for its proposed overhaul of Australia's environment laws as parliament returns for its last sitting week of the year.The proposed reforms update the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act, five years after a review found the laws were not fit for purpose.
Minister for the Environment and Water says while he is "confident" the reforms will pass this week, it remains unclear as to which party the reforms will pass with the support of.
