In a hotel conference room on an Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, the leaders of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia initialled an agreement to bring the three-and-a-half-year conflict to a close. Three weeks later, the General Framework Agreement, known as the Dayton Peace Accords, was signed.

  • Guest: Jasmina Joldic, Bosnian migrant and Deputy Secretary in the Commonwealth Education Department  & Ian Kemish, former Australian diplomat to the region and distinguished advisor at the ANU national security college
  • Producer: Eddy Diamond
