I can get quite engaged and emotional in these conversations, too, so I totally know what it feels like when someone has a completely different view on something as fundamental as birth. BUT I've also been feeling very protective around friends, clients and people I care for who have chosen to birth in ways that are being judged by others.

Isn't the essence of women's empowerment that we respect women and see them as fully capable and autonomous beings? How come it seems to be especially women who do not give other women that trust?! Something to think about...

Having opinions is natural and human, but the way birth is judged and categorized does not serve anyone, least of all the birthing mothers and babies.

In this episode I share some of my thoughts that I've been having for a while around all these opinions that  are out there and the different camps around the birth space aka natural birth, hospital birth, free birth, homebirth, choosing c-sections and all the options in between all of these.
